  • Thank you very much sir for valuable advices. I'm 20 years old, today I'm going to face my first job interview of my life.

  • you should write a book about this. you are my master lol

  • FINALLY! a good answer to a cliche

you help a lot of people Brian, thank you

  • i learn alot of this..thanks Brian.....its so interesting!!!!!

  • thanks a lot Brain

  • The absolute best insight I have ever received into the interview process. Very straightforward and crisp - you are truly a genius at what you do!

  • Hi Brian, Could you tell me the appropriate answer to the question, "why did you leave the previous company"?

  • @sarun147 - just answer the question. You don't have to give all of the details (try to keep it positive--no past employer bashing), but don't fabricate the answer, either. Companies can and do check references.

  • @BrianKrueger thanks Brian.

  • you I just figured that Mr Krueger is an author.. I will definitely hunt your books and buy it... thanks a lot..

  • thnk u so much..ur videos r gr8 help...tomorw is my first interview n m rilli nervous

    u are a saint!

  • Brian, thanks a lot. Your tips have really helped me a great deal. CHEERS!

  • You're welcome. I'm happy that the tips have been of help to you.

  • This is an even tougher question for me. I am on a 2 year break from University as I will be hopefully returning to my Masters. I intend to work Part Time during my Masters in the role that I applying for but at some point down the line - say in 4/5 years, I'll probably be leaving that role and career path completely (and not going into a similar path.)

When I get this question, I cannot help feel nervous because my long term objective is not really what they are looking for. Any advice?

  • Be honest. 4-5 years is plenty for most employers, especially at lower level roles.

  • Thank you.

  • Just came back to say that I got invited back for a second interview and successfully did a phone interview with another company meaning I have a first interview lined up with them. Given that I had a couple of really bad interviews before coming across these videos, I am so grateful for the advice in them!

  • thanks Brain..its really helpful..
