and from what i hear, heroin can get you hooked after 1 or 2 times. Friends of mine do OC once a week or so and they dont report any withdrawal, even when they go a month without it.

Yes, i was on the stuff for 6 months in Fl. Hung out with a bunch of strippers/prostitutes. The first thing you think of was-"are you going to get your fix to stay healthy that day". I had the luxury of $. My point is that illegal it is a terrible drug. Legal it is really less harmful than any other drug including pot. It is the lack of the drug that causes personal and social problems. No one would ever OD if it dosage was always same.
