We, the real Americans are in need of therapy, the result of which is, that the far right wing squirrel nut jobs would be raptured into their imaginary heaven so that we, the real Americans would be able to get about the business of governance of our nation.
Social Conservatives such as this ID10T from the FRC, need to step aside and let real Americans get about the business of governance. We need to be rid of these ID10T's who think that anyone other than them, is a sinner and going to hell.
Log Cabin Republicans should put a very simple litmus test on all Republican candidates. Those who have fought for gay rights in a major battle, such as Senator Susan Collins of Maine who campaigned to bring the repeal of "Don't Ask; Don't Tell" back up for a vote when it was defeated and helped ensure its passage, should be supported. This goes even more strongly for the four Republican NY State Senators who voted to pass gay marriage. Support Republicans who support gay civil rights!
@spiegelscott I'd put up with Ron Paul for 8 years if that meant the continued advancement of gay marriage (bad example cus he's not for gay marriage, but I doubt he'd block it). I don't get why you wouldn't even consider Obama.
I'm European, so I don't get it. Republicans don't want the government to interfere with healthcare, environment, labor rights, gun possession, income tax, the market and who knows what else.
But it's OK for the government to come inside your bedroom? Isn't that the summit of federal interference in the private live of citizens?
And when did US presidential elections stop being about the political views of the candidates? What has their marital life to do with ability to rule the country?
Jesus needs to come rapture all the christians already so we would have alot less hate and bigotry and heaven can deal with it. and he said people choose to go to the therapy, most clients are CHILDREN taken by their families that have NO CHOICE you pig
The ONLY reason any LGBT person feels like their attractions are "unwanted" is because of anti-gay indoctrination! They were raised in a homophobic home or town or whatever, and that's all they heard. Therefore, they learned early on to feel ashamed.
No gay person who's raised in a tolerant area like San Francisco or New York goes to this fucking "therapy." Get a life, anti-gays. It's none of your goddamn business.
If it's so "natural" for some gay people to feel like their attractions are "unwanted", then why aren't there any STRAIGHT people who wanna go to conversion therapy? Get my drift, FRC?
@soundscape718 We need to see who the idiots are and let them make fools of themselves because a lot of people don't realize how much Republicans hate and discriminate against the average person. But, I'm definitely with you.
@tytheeman20 i don't understand it either why gay people can be reupblicans and they're actually stupid and delusional too. the gay republican group "goproud" had ann coulter as the guest speaker at their fundraiser and she supported that preacher when he blamed the 9/11 attacks on gays, lesbians, pro-choice and feminists. they really think there is a place for them in the republican party. so sad..
Grazie Dave for uploading this I just saw it "air " this morning! The Rep from "The Family Research Council" is if not a joke a very bad dream! His views and that of the "Reactionary" organization are so stunningly out of touch! But I do feel sorry for the "Log Cabin" Republican, he never got the new GOP memo stating that "queers" were now no longer welcome in todays' Republican Party!
It's kind of awkward to watch a gay man say "we" when talking about the republican party. I mean, I know he's not ignorant to the fact that they continue to pass anti-gay legislation. Why would he want them to remain in power?
Why does MSNBC continue to put hate-mongers from hate groups on their channel. Isn't that giving them an undeserveing platform?

No one has ever changed their sexual orientation. Every “ex-gay” will tell you they only oppress their desires, they never change.
This type of counseling has only caused harm.

I really want to sit a log cabin republican or GOProud member down and ask them:
2012, Obama or Bachmann?
I'm going to go berserk if they even hesitate
DrNHand1994 7 months ago
@DrNHand1994 As a member of both groups, that's not even hard for me to answer: hands-down Bachmann.

It is a waste of time as bachman is a waste of space. but her supporters would probably want some answers anyway.

LGBT people are NOT BROKEN! When will it finally sink into these Christian's thick-as-cement heads???
And, if I had to make a bet, I'd say people that don't "want" to be gay, do so because they are treated horribly by these Christian people.

Why are they talking to hate groups? Also, if for no other reason it's news because she gets federal funds.

MSNBC AND CNN NEED TO STOP HAVING FRC ON THERE SHOWS - IT GIVES THEM A PLATFORM TO SPEW THEIR INTOLERANCE AND HATE!

Sprigg, some people see their same sex attractions as unwanted because of disgusting pricks like you wailing about how gross and unnatural it is.
Want to know what's unnatural? Your intolerance.

"Wah! I'm such a victim, people aren't tolerant of my bigotry" pretty much the mantra of the FRC, NOM and the rest of the Republican base.
