If they just hayrched the continuity of wiki history file, then they could fight patent rights for the coolest wiki ever forever. Like all the prototype wiki that isn't just saying linear algebra wow, but he almost gets it done and then, "wow, that isn't usefull at all, but that other attempt is".

So, Google was designing this 3 months ago? Really? I conceived of it last year and implemented it in 4 days. Really, Google: if you thought of it 3 months ago, why did it take you so long to implement it? Or did you just rip off my idea, which has been out as the OpenComments extension since last year, and rebrand it as Sidewiki?

I've been receiving a weird Firefox error while having Google Toolbar and Sidewiki installed.

Whenever I would open up Firefox, I would get a box that says "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded."

When I disabled the add-on, the message stopped popping up.

i think this is amazing it gives people a popular outlet for comments and opinons without being sensored by the site. This could be used for spam tho. but imagen google could somehow add spam filters

They can improve it by making a HTML code you can put on your page to disable comments and add another code which you replace part of it with someone's usernabe to block them. That would be useful. Overwhise looks great!
