They showed us this today in English class because we are working on commercials and seeing if they make effective arguments. The whole class was dead silent. Some kids were even crying. It took about 30 seconds for the reaction of it being a hair commercial to sink in. It is a great story with amazing morale. Chase your dream. Nothing can hold you back.
I have a disease in my ears that will most likely cause me to be deaf by the time I'm 20. I play flute and middle school band is a big part of my life. When I found this out, my best friend showed me this. She told me to post that 1,000 students try out for TMEA region 26 band and only about 120 make it. And I did. You can do it. Most people when I was younger thought I was stupid because I couldn't speak as clearly. Don't thik a deaf person can't persue music. I don't need ears, I need passion.

Even if you don't like the musik nor the product, main stream society has finally freed itself from profiting off of low self esteem and started to promote perseverance, power, and the ability to dream big. I don't know if you turned on a television set lately, but all you'll see is the "ideal" woman who has been digitally edited to look like a goddess.
