  • 22 years old. Crying like a baby.

  • I think it's called suite from the forest gump movie. by alan silvestri

  • I think it's called suite from the forest gump movie.

  • BAWWW

  • 13 likes and will read this to my G.friend//_^

  • I WHIP MY BABY BACK AND FORTH

  • A truly wonderful story!

  • The first time I read this story was in the 2nd Grade, and I just thought it was another story my teacher made us read. Now, it's about 3:00 in the morning in 2011, my own mom is recovering from a stroke she had the year before, and just listening to this story makes me want to walk into her bedroom and just hold her close like she always did to me.

  • Thank you for making this wonderful book into a video. I got this book for my Son when he was in the first grade, and he loved it. He is now 28 years old. Over the years, the old tattered book got lost or thrown away during moving.

I am glad I can see the book again without buying it..........THANK YOU!

  • my favorite book always #1 baby shower gift Love Love it

  • I have read this book to my boys since the day they were born. We love this book,,, i cry everytime,, and my kids love it cause its happy tears. Thank you Robert Munsch this is the best.

  • why would you dislike this? This is a great story!!!

  • This is the only book that can still make this US Marine ball like an infant child. I don't think it will ever be any different. I remember reading this book in wee-worship at church on Mother's Day. I was around 6-7 and I think that was the day that I realized that people die... and that my parents wouldn't be around forever. This book brought the mortality of the world closer to me, and taught me to cherish everything and everyone around me, because you never know when it might slip away...

  • That was such a great song and i loved the music

  • awwhh :')

  • It never ceases to amaze me the people who say this book "creeps them out". It's a simple story about the endless love a parent has for their child. That's it. Those who look any deeper into it - maybe you're the disturbed ones, for trying to find any different kind of meaning in it.

  • My mom read this to me when i was a baby and then while i sleep she would rock me and sing the song to me.I remember this story by heart seeing this makes me cry.

  • God. I love this book. In grade 2, some kid named Bryce made fun of me for reading the book and loving. I cried. I told the teacher on him, serves him right ):

  • i read this to my daughter every night. its such a wonderful book. it was her dads fav and its her fav too.

  • It's literally impossible for me to read this and not get at least a little teary eyed.... my mom used to read this to me every night.

  • my used to read this to me every night when i was a baby and after it finished she would sing that to me while holding me in her arms R.I.P Mom :(

  • Where is there a video of this?

  • This gets me every time. Best children's book ever.

  • i was touched, naiyk 2loy aqoh nang wla sa oras

  • i was touch,

  • That was a wonderful video! My grandchildren watched it with me and I was impressed with how well made it was. Thank you so much. I've loved that story for years.

  • OK what I don't get is how ANYONE can dislike this! :/

  • when i was young my mom would read me this book. good memories

  • Brings me tears.....

  • My mom used to read this to me when I was little. I know that when she gets older, I'll read it back to her as she did to me. And when I have a child of my own, I will read it as I rock them to sleep. That is my hope.

  • My family used to read this book to me every night, sometimes a few times in the day, because I absolutely loved it. They ALL had it memorized.

Fifteen years later my sister looks at me & quotes that song, and I remembered it too.

    Beautiful story.

  • Jeez, I remember reading this as a child and I loved it and when no one was around I would read it and start crying...it was sad crying though because I just couldn't accept having to live without my mum...really makes you appreciate things

  • ok im crying this is so powerful

  • D'aww...

  • What the hell is everyone crying about? People die and have children, that's a fact of life that I thought everyone just kinda accepted, a simple children's book shouldn't change that. I would've been more moved if the story involved the child being unloved by his mother, or if the son grew up to be a failure and killed himself, sending his mother into a spiraling depression, you know, something actually sad instead of something normal and not particularly thought-provoking.

  • Who would dislike a video like this?

  • ...I didn't cry, does that mean I'm an emotionless bastard or that my tear ducts aren't functioning properly?

  • I cried, so hard...I was a solo in this song in first grade, on mothers day, and she didn't show up...now she sings this song to me everyday :'3

  • My mom used to read me this book, I think of her when I see it.

  • Some family traditions should not be carried onward. This is one of them. What the hell is wrong with you people? Mom is a freakshow who is a pedophile. This is a God awful book.

  • the book sucks, this video sucks, it all sucks (Cause i'm crying again and it's been 14 years since I first read it and I own it and you'd think I'd get over it) <3

  • I've been a preschool teacher for 21 years. This is easily one of the best stories ever written. I read it to my son and gave it to my sidter when my nephew was born. I read it every Mother's Day to my class. This bookis timeless at showing how the love we give our children will be passed on to our grandchildren.

  • Goal: Make it through video without crying and having the overwhelming to go hug my mother.

  • Whenever I was a young boy, my mother would always read me this book. She and I would read it together. I practically had the entire book memorized, just as she did. Every time the song would come up in the story, we would sing it to each other. After the book would close, we would sing it to each other. Every night, still, when I am seventeen, we sing it to each other. This is all because my mother loved me so much. My mother is my best friend. I will love her forever and always. :)

  • i read this book and said...wow...i have no heart.......

  • My mom used to tell me that story! likee if your mother did too!

  • Me and my mom lov this book when I was a kid it would mak me cry it still does

  • Seriously, if my mom broke into my house to cradle me, I'd be terrified.

  • This is seriously one of the most disturbing and awful things I've ever laid my eyes on. Shame on the lot of you.

  • This is the creepiest children's book I have ever seen.

  • I remember when I read this book when i was in 1st grade!! :)

  • I loved this book as a kid. My grandma read it to me all the time and rocked me just like the mom did in the book. This video has me in tears and I'm 22 now.

  • I cried so hard after reading this book....10 years ago...and even now.

In fact I can't stop crying. I think I'm gonna run out of tears.... -_-

  • my mom used to read me this book... i loved it so much...

  • This is the book that my mom sang to me every night when I was a kid... such a beautiful book. Thank you for sharing!!

  • 21 Years old and still cryed, I love you mom!

  • I love your video, only wish you'd have sung the chorus, it's beautiful. The other reading on here sings the chorus, but cuts off the last part of the story about the son's new baby. Thank you for sharing this

  • This made me realize that no matter how busy I get as a college student or how grown up I try to be, I am still a kid and miss my family so much. I wouldn't be so far in life today if it wasn't for the support and love my mom has shown me.

  • LOVE THE STORY IS VERY BEAUTIFULLY STORY AND TROUT LIKE LIKE ,,,

  • I listen to this every night before I go to bed, and I'm 16 <3

  • Thank you.

  • my mom read this to me every night since i was 3 til i was 10 love you mom

  • I was balling the entire time! Thank you for posting this, it was beautifully read.

  • Every time my mom found this book laying around the house she would read it to me. Last time she read it to me I was 16. rest in peace, mom...

  • Does anyone know the name of this beautiful music?

  • It is a combination of music from Forest Gump, The Saint and another that I can't remember.

  • My mother loves this book, as do l. Sometime ago it got lost and she talks about it all the time. She use to read it to all of us each night, one by one. ( she had only 6 kids at the time) l'm going to get it for her this Christmas. l'm sure she'll begin reading it to us again. l'm 16 and l can't wait for her to read it to me again!<'3

  • I hate this story 'cause it always makes me tear up! (>.<)

  • can someone tell me the name of the song, please?? very sweet

  • Combination of Forust Gump, The Saint and another one that I can't remember.

  • @chanimalted and where did you get?

  • what's the nme of the music?? it's gorgeous

  • I miss Mom so much...it hurts. All that I feel is like...pain.

  • i remember my mom reading this video when i was little and now i'm a 14 year old boy and i'm actually crying. please don't tell anyone.

  • It still makes me cry and that's saying something. I love this book and thank you for this video.

  • I read the boy I babysitt this story after he hadn't read it for a couple years, and at the end of the book I looked over at him and he's crying, and he says, does the mommy die? it was so sweet :)

  • ♥♥♥

  • Mother........A creation of Almighty like no other. May Lord, rest in peace, the souls of all the mothers who have left for their final abode,. May God inspire all the sons and daughter who have their mothers with them... to love them, serve them, care for them and obey them. Amen. Mother... an amazing creation of My Lord Almighty.

  • 10 dislikes? Those people don't have souls!

  • the mom drove across town to sneak into his house and rock a grown ass man to sleep? can u say..creepy?

  • @cHoKoLatPYE that's not the point of the book

  • in the picture of the kid when he is 9 years old he totally looks like he is holding a bottle of booze.

  • I can usually suppress emotions easily but this really was hard. It was so touching that I fought the urge to cry.

  • makes me and my mom cry all the time

  • this video made me cry

  • Positive- I just started my literacy time line, this is one of the book i remember my mother reading to me as a child, and watching this has brought me to tears. I have such a feeling of closeness to my mother, and this book really makes me miss her. I don't talk to her nearly enough, but her hard work ethic both as a teacher as well as mother has inspired me to be a hard working man who cares about his community. First book i remember from prob. 1990 when I was too

  • If Gabe let me, I'd still read this to him. He did flush my watch down the toilet. and at times I say "this kids is driving me crazy" but until the day I die, Gabriel... "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby (Gabey) you'll be"....

  • bawling like a baby now...

  • Just enjoy the moment...embracing the deep love of a parent for their child. It made me cry as a new mother and now that my sons are grown I enjoyed the memory. We will always love our children...and our parents no matter what.

  • My mother would read this book to me all the time as a child. Always makes me tear up. Such a lovely book.

  • I dedicate this story to Kyron Horman...missing (his favorite story book)

  • All right, who are the 10 people who have no souls that disliked this video?

  • I can't read this book without sobbing... even after baby #5

  • I'm sorry, but I think this is the creepiest children's book I've ever read. This represents a creepy and inappropriate parent/child relationship. I get what the book is trying to say and the message is good, but it could've been presented in a better way that doesn't involve a mother sneaking into her grown son's room/house and rocking him while he sleeps. No offense to the people who like this book. I respect your opinions and feelings.

  • I read this to my niece and luckily for me she's only 3 because I started to cry when I had almost finished the story.

  • I thought it was weird how she broke into his house when he was an adult.

  • Thank's bro for helping me fishing a school project

  • This book makes me cry every time I read it. This video is heartfelt and made me cry as well.

  • I cried.

  • OMG I remember this story when I was young. I cried. and now that i am pregnant I am ballling!!!

  • i read this to my younger siblings..and i used to tell my ex-boyfriend that all the time..i plan on reading this to my kids when i have them..it's the best childhood story i can remember..

  • i love this story when i first heard it , it touch me !

  • hi im erica i loved it!!! i have the book and deadicated it to my niece

  • I wonder if everyone sings the "love you forever song'' in this book in the same tune.

  • If this childrens book doesn't make you cry, then you will NEVER CRY....

Not ONCE have I read this book without crying, it doesn't matter what type of mood I'm in. It's amazing that a short childrens book could have SUCH a lasting impression on me, I just keep appreciating it even more as I grow older....

  • This is a very emotional book, especially knowing it was deicated to two of his babies that were born still born,

  • OMG a double whammy! This book never fails in making me cry and so does the forest gump theme. I've had this book close to my heart since I wad a toddler and I'm 22 now, and about to graduate college. I'm going to give my mom a copy of this book on my graduation day.

  • Favorite Book.

  • I read this to my kids for many years before bed... my goodness this is an AWESOME story for kids! Very heartfelt!

  • It's never the words in the book that makes it touching, it's the way the narrator read it. If you watch other versions of the book, it doesn't sound so emotional.

  • It's never the words in the book that makes it touching, it's the way the narrator read it. If you watch other versions of the book, it doesn't sound so emotional.

  • Good job, sir. MUCH better than the other reading of the book that someone else had on here.

  • I'm 19, and my Mom used to read this too us when my brothers and I were little. Looking at this now, this makes me think not only of my Mom, but God's big love for me, too.

My eyes are burning from the tears this video made me shed. Thank you for posting it.

  • i got teary eyes and my mom used to read this to me too. are we supposed to believe the mom died of old age in the end? when he was rocking her maybe she died in his arms? because that's what I thought the story meant, she was too old to finish so he said that to her as she lay dying and then went home and carried on her tradition

  • My wife sung this to my kids as they were growing up. It's a precious story.

  • Its pretty powerful when you can write a childrens book that can make anyone cry.

  • Ever since I was little this book would make me cry and at 26, I still can't help but cry. In memory of my mother. 21 yrs without her hurts. I miss her so much. ---I'll love you forever. I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my Mommy you'll be.---

  • aww love THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • always makes me cry...

  • We bought this book for our children a few

years ago and I love to read it every chance I get.

  • My parents never paid much attention to me, but my older sister practically raised me.

I never understood why when she read it to me every night, why she'd always cry.

Now when I read it to my little neice and nephew, I deffinitely understand.

  • My mom sent me this book when she was in prison. This book makes me want to cry, but it's a great book.

  • such a simple but brilliant story. God bless you for posting this.

  • I LOVE THIS BOOK TO DEATH!!!!!!!

  • i was raised by a single mom and she means the world to me...and this story always makes me cry..." as long as im living my mommy you'll be "

  • i g0t tears!!!!!!! i l0ve this st0ry!

  • hey wait, i just realized something, how would the boy know the words to the song if the mom onnly read it to him when he was asleep? i mean when he sang it to his mom and his kid so how did he know it if the boy was asleep?

  • Because he wasn't REALLY asleep. Hence the emphasis on "IF".
