I have already commented on it, but honestly I can't rave about this sound enough. Easily my fave Hannah Fury song, possibly one of my fave songs out of all songs I like!!
Hannah Fury is one of those artists who has some awful songs (don't kill me, its just my opinion), but then occaisionally has some absolutely beautiful ones. This is one of the beautiful ones!
@MinyTheWild I see where you're coming from. But there are very few artists this doesnt apply to. It's just that Hannah's great songs are so outstanding and special (and I really mean that) that they leap out at you and leave the others standing. However, sometimes you have to write a load of 'lesser stuff' (I would rather put it like that), for the true works of great genius to emerge ...
Does anybody know how to contact her? or at least be aware of her present state?.. I've been in her official site but they only post like once in ever 3 or more months xD
@viblue Hannah is a 'one woman band' - she has to handle it all herself. Being a 'one off' - out of the mainstream - she has to reply to all communications herself . Her fan base is steadily (but slowly) growing as people begin to appreciate her genius. But the big break is yet to come.
I too am not sure what's going on ,with her - and worry at times, She is a mystery - as befits her amazing music. Just keep encouraging her and appreciating her genius.

It's no good - I tried to resist - but all was in vain - it drew me inexorably back into its sticky web down that static free cellular line - yanked by that astral cord towards those thorny veins and now I am about to be destroyed again. But the pleasure in this sort of masochistic 'self-destruction' is that you can keep coming back to it time and time again, dust yourself down and then be ready for another round!!
A friend linked me to this song and omg I can't stop listening to it. I'm not usually a HUGE fan of this type of music, although I can name off the top of my head quite a few songs in that category that I like (um, what genre would you call this, anyways?) but this song is just amazing.
@YuuSainity Yes - I know what you mean. But she is one of those rare artists that you can't fit into a genre. Sure she has influences. Everybody does. But one day she will gain the recognition she so justly deserves. She WILL breakthrough - but on her terms - nobody elses.
This is my favorite song by Hannah. It's so airy, haunting, and beautiful. And I love that part "I feel it come again... the feeling that I love... and that I know will end..." It's so pretty. Unfortunately, Through The Gash is the only physical album of hers that I own, but I hope to own all/most of them someday...
It's a week later and it's grown on me a heck of a lot more. Infact I luuuuuuuve it! But that's typical of Hannah's work isn't it. One by one everything has gone down - all the jacks, all the ports - now I'm left with just a screen - even the key pads are dropping ogg (see what I mean). Its weird watching lips moving but nothing coming out. But I have excellent hearing and am straining to hear you kindly playing me (on a loop) Man Alive in Ontario, althoiugh I am a little stretched at that distance. Wish i could see you 'full moon dancing' though. That sounds amazing .....
DarkAngelWings 667 (I'm glad its not 666) - your a tireless worker in the noble cause of uploading the works of the fabulous Hannah Fury. We salute you. This may be is not one of Hannah's 'easy listens' but it certainly grows on you. And it therefore rewards those that listen to it - often. But not for the 'flighty'.
On "The thing that feels" the most meathook - alike songs are, but i truly prefer Soul poison, despite there are only a few songs on that album, unlike The thing that feels^^
