I meant the same by saying india wanted an alternative to russia for its interests. which happens to be israel which i personally feel would never support pakistan or would be neutral and to top that they also have competitive military technology. N russia is trustworthy and dependale but u cant have 70% of ur armed force dependable on a single nation! Yes, you are absolutely correct! It is about smart work and Indians are not only good at seeking out alliances with countries of similar attitudes but have been in the game since 1947! Israel and India were bound to be bestfriends since the history of both countries are similar in essential concept. The Indian guy is amazing, diplomatic but still making a clear point that India wants strong ties with Israel without damaging its image in the Middle East.
However i believe that this new found friendship between the two regional superpowers will only grow.
