I used to have a 2003 version, it had a great engine but the bike was a bit heavy... So I ride a 2007 CBR 1000RR.
im 6'4 and i road my 2000 bird from austin tx to memphis tn straight threw just stopped for gas! no buzz no worries comfy in the saddle with a couple 170mph plus blast down the interstate to break the manoteny lol I think of it as a high speed goldwing! the bike is a joy to ride!

Ya, I have a 2000. You want fuel injection. 99 and up puts HP to 164. Bigger fuel tank etc. Be prepared to spend money on gas though! My friends always laugh at me spending $25.00 at the pump to fill up!
@roelsn i disagree. I did an end - to end run of the Uk on my lovely Honda Blackbird and I never felt any form of uncomfort. This bike is a hyper bike. You can cruise at 30 mph or you can cruise at 180 mph. The seat is very comfortable, the seat to floor height is a bit high, which may be a problem for some people, but all said...the Honda Blackbird is a bike you could ride from Mexico to Canada and still be looking forward to the barbeque. I love it and would definitely buy another.

330k??? 205 miles per hour?? your about 25 -30 miles out im afraid. max speed on a 1100XX is 175 180mph, i shud know ive done it.

well it depends on the condition of the bike but a blackbird in A condition should atleat do 320 km an hour.

it's quite a 'racer' bike, which is not all to comfortable on long distances, since you have to lean forward quite a bit.
