what's the difference between "guten" and "gute"? according to google translate they both mean "good"

"Gute" Nacht -adjective is in accusative

"Guten" Morgen -adjective is in accusative

der Morgen masculine

die Nacht feminine

the adjective is declined according to the gender, case and verbs.

The fact is, some German words are alike English words. But the grammar in German is very very difficult that even many Germans have problems with it. Therefore it is pointless to learn only the words or simply sentences.

we actually use cool the same way. "I like the shirt. It's sooo cool." = "Ich mag dein shirt, es is sooo cool." The "kühl" you wrote does rather mean "slightly cold" ;) really cold means "kalt"
