To be honest, I've never played brothers in arms. But i fully understand why the fans of the series hate this fucking rubbish. I've been in the same situation myself, with operation flashpoint which went all the way from the top down to the bottom because of idiot developers like the fool in this video.
I remember watching this conference, and when he said Brothers in Arms, I stood off my couch and was beyond excited, then he started saying something about killin' Nazis and when he said Furious 4 all hope died. I am beyond fucking pissed that this happened, fucking shitheads!
This game doesn't deserve to be called a Brothers in Arms game. Im not saying a game like this can't developed but this game does not fucking deserve to be part of the Brothers in Arms series.
Ubisoft, you have taken a fantastic franchise that many fans have enjoyed since the 1st installment and absolutely ruined it. The only logical reason I could see for you to put the brother in arms branding on this and not an original title, is in some feeble attempt to market this product to fans of the original series. What you have failed to recognize is that the majority of fans played the series for what it offered over the competition in realism and accuracy.

This reminds me of borderlands for some reason. I don't know why they're changing Brothers in arms, the first and second games were the way they should be played. So immersive and set on the characters, easy controls and great combat. Why change it?
If you are being challenged to do something entirely new about WW2 shooters, I think WW2 China would be cool. China was perhaps the most chaotic country in the world back then. They fought the Japanese over metropolises, along the Great Wall, from Manchuria to Burma and the front saw over 20 million deaths. I'd rather play that than a fantasy shooter.
I don't think this is going to happen though. American game companies have Americans as the protagonists and I think that makes sense.

God, I wish someone would make a brand new WWII FPS, with realism, strategy and team work as a basis. I wanna go throe Normandy beach landings, Airborne insertion, Italy, North Africa, the entire ETO and the Pacific campaign.

Szkoda gadać ,na temat tej gry, nic fajnego a do tego nic ciekawego, wkurzające jest to i mało zrozumiałe ,że zrobili wcześniejsze 3 świetne części, prawdziwa saga, która nie ma za kończenia bo skończyła się w Holandii , dlaczego nie poszli z postępem i nie zrobili dalej części ,przecie są Ardeny ,świetny temat na grę, gdyby podnieśli grę jeszcze lepiej graficzne niż w HH (co było świetne ,ale zawsze można lepiej) by była gra nie do po bicia.

A true BIA fan would remember those epic, touching, heartbreaking and legendary moments that made the game what it is. Remember when Leggit died, or when Obrieski was sniped atop the cathedral or my personal favourite, the heartbreaking moment when Hartsock lost all use of his legs. The first three succeeded because of great gameplay, a believable ww2 atmosphere and great stories with a very humane feel. This is some ill advised Dukes Of Hazzard nonsense parading as a BIA game. This reminds me of borderlands for some reason. I don't know why they're changing Brothers in arms, the first and second games were the way they should be played. So immersive and set on the characters, easy controls and great combat. Why change it?

If you are being challenged to do something entirely new about WW2 shooters, I think WW2 China would be cool. China was perhaps the most chaotic country in the world back then. They fought the Japanese over metropolises, along the Great Wall, from Manchuria to Burma and the front saw over 20 million deaths. I'd rather play that than a fantasy shooter.
I don't think this is going to happen though. American game companies have Americans as the protagonists and I think that makes sense.
