1 QUESTION TO THE STUPID AIRBUS FANS?! IF AIRBUS WAS BETTER WOULD THE USA PRESIDENT CARRY AIR FORCE 1 IN BOEING'S?? AND ALWAYS HAS AND AWLWAYS WILL!! ;] BOEING #1!!! BEST <3
@DavoAper11 it would make sense for the US president to fly a US built aircraft over a british/french aircraft, regardless of it being the best would it not?
@DavoAper11 Do you really saying and think some of the last few USA presidents are clever? are you proud of president Obama? ...or Bush?? ...or Clinton??? ...or Bush???? Obviously - you are same way stupid to ask this kind of questions, and prove the "theory" with USA AF1 Lol :) Fly at least once as a passenger - than you'll realize a lot, and after thinking (which is obviously not so easy for you) you will understand why Airbus is better than Boeing. and stop looking pics only - read more ;)
@averredude101 I don't quite see how Airbus are more original than Boeing if I'm honest. Never heard that saying, only "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going"
@oWipWaP Shareholders have no patriotism. An example: Airbus Tanker would completely build in Mobile Alabama. This means no new jobs in Europe, but 20,000 new jobs in de USA. No matter whether Airbus or Boeing
It all depends on how good or bad a plane is serviced. Finally important parts of the Airbus are manufactured in Germany. We know all about quality of German workmanship. apart from that had the German had already jet fighter while the U.S. still flying propeller aircraft
@SouthAfricanAirways1 yes especially in the up and coming 787 and 747-8i, boeing also seem to keep their aircraft classic looking on inside and outside from the days from when flying was for the super rich but they also keep the aircraft modern
@SouthAfricanAirways1 Main thing that makes airplane comfortable or uncomfortable is seats, and manufacturer doesnt choose them, its airline. Both of them have pretty same safety records.
I honestly dont see any difference if im in A320 or B737 with same seats and legspace.
747-8 is a cheap and boring replacement for the classic 747-400 series in my mind's eye. Boeing did not want to invest in an all new 747 replacement as it was seen too risky a buisness venture. I applaud Airbus once again for taking the risk and pushing the envelope in terms of innovation and desing. I think Airbus have pushed aviation 20 years into the future whereas Boeing is still tinkering with a 1960's old rusted antique 747 design.
yeah but then again the 747 has been very successful and the airliners know that it is a trustworth aircraft i guess with the -8i the only reason boeing are making it is because of the engines and upto date interior and wing design to compete with the a380. i understand what u r saying about the a380 being more futuristic but the 747 needs a replacement but atm it looks like boeing are not to worried
A380 will make air travel much cheaper than it is currently because A380 makes more money than any other airliner that is currently in service. An A380 starts making profit at 65% full capacity.
Airbus is quieter inside, easier to fly even by stupid folks and once you know to fly one model you can train in a few days for every other model and subtype. Best thing about boeing is the engine power+performance and engine size and it's made by GE. Plus airbus has fewer bad looking aircrafts (only the a380 vs the 757 and 737).
yes all valid points, but i beg to differ that the 737 looks bad, its engines have a squared effect on the bottom making them different than most other engine designs (the outer casings obviously) and the tail starts a bit early then goes up which does look peculiar as early 737 models didnt have this. but one ugly thing about the 737 is the winglets are weh too high
@ConcordeCentral yes I agree. Even w/ the success of the 737NG (yes it is a great airplane) Boeing desperately needs to replace it now rather than later. Boeing, please don't go another 15+ years without putting a brand new aircraft into the air!!
@compdude100 i believe that teh 787-3 is planned to be a replacement of the 737 and if not a replacement at least another option in a 737/757 range aircraft
@ConcordeCentral well the 787-3 it seats 290-330 passengers depending on configuration. that's way more than the 737, which carries 100-215 passengers. The 787-3 was intended to replace the 757-300, which holds 280 passengers max. 757-200 holds up to 228 passengers.
The 737 is over forty years old. I wish boeing wouldn't have put the sky interior on it and just designed a brand new plane! by the way boeing's 100th anniversary is in 2016 I'd like to see a new plane by then :D
Why are people rating the comments for airbus as bad ones, people are allowed to put forward their opinion, doesnt mean its a bad comment because they arent boeing bashers who just hate airbus. If someone says airbus there is no reason why their comment should be rated as poor.
every part of the airbus line up (except the a340 series) is ownage to boeing:D:D it will be complete 100% ownage of boeing when they put the purepower turbofan on the a340 and reduce its fules consumption between 10 and 15%!!!! that makes it an exact competitor to teh 777:D
@ARMATURISTA boeing airplanes are netter gjem airbus, i mean it went 2 restad beskrev eget found big cracks in the 380 ånd Obama has sine å greate job he only news 4 more years
