sana iimprove pa ng Dragon ang fireworks nila, does not mean na colorful na ang paputok nila, ok na, they should find someway para ma lessen ang smoke, like Platinum or Starmaker (which was closed down) Fireworks, yung fireworks nila walang masyadong usok kaya clear na nakikita ng mga audiences and judges ang tunay na laman ng fireworks nila :)

@CruzPhilipe Thanks for your comment. Smoke accumulation is mostly dependent on the wind, and in this case, the wind stood still for the evening, severely degrading the performance of all countries that performed on this day. Just to clarify, it's not a matter of some magic in the formulation of fireworks, and depends a lot on luck. On a final note, one of the companies you mentioned uses 100% imported products.

I'm sure that if thw wind was there.. and it blew the smokes away.. Philippines could have gotten a higher position.. i mean.. the fireworks are amazing and i love th song.. i saw some fireworks that are fantastic but it was covered by smoke... and you can't hardly see the other fireworks that blows on the ground because of the thick smoke

Too bad the smoke didn't clear as fast for us to appreciate the low level fireworks... i'm sure it was suppose to add drama and effects... i think what'll be good to consider the next time is something very filipino in music that's very upbeat and lively.... consider pinikpikan or something... it should be nice... and very filipino. The fireworks fantastic! I spend a lot every new year on dragon fireworks!!! I'M A FAN!!!

Yes, this was synced to the audio. A frontage of more than 200 meters had gigantic speakers blaring into the audience. Hence, you can hardly hear anything else. If you'll notice the shell bursts, a lot of them open up on the beat, apart from the lower effect ignitions.

I think what they should have done is to start slow then gets exciting at the end bec if they do that it would minimize the smoke at the beginning and you will be able to see the fireworks throughout the display... but i like it anyways but take my advise and you will see the difference... :)

nahh it wouldnt work in that way there was no wind that time so even if they started slow the smoke would still accumulate

the competition rule states that they can only use 6" shells as the biggest... dragon fireworks makes one of the biggest breaking 6 inch shells in the market...

it was a well executed show and very good timing of effects, smoke was really a problem with the mid-part till last part because there's a stagnant wind, i also ranked it 2nd compare to the other, but judges do have their own taste, anyway i know it was a great experience for the whole team, there's still next time, to team dragon a big toast to you all guys! =)

For me this is suposed to be the 2nd runner up! the timing, effects and sychronization are almost perfect! the effects are very nice but the smoke covers the beauty of the shells and trhe effects!! i really like the song selection and it is a powerful show!!! kakaninis lang talaga ang mga nangyari! and besides i think di fair ang judging!!! anyway, congrats team dragon for making making it to the competition and for bringing honor to country! job well done!

Too bad, coz the smokes didn't clear the area, that's why the full beauty and elegance of the show wasn't observed by the judges and the audience. This was a solid performace by dragon.. The show was nearly flawless, just too bad the smoke built up and covered a big part of the show... It's really hard when you're going against nature... I still rank this show 2nd or 3rd among all the competitors in this years Da Nang Fireworks Competition :D
