We had a ride in one, after a 20 hour flight i was starting to fall asleep and was using the side of the seat for a head rest. The driver said, Oh no Sir the seat folds out. One push of the button and I was in a very comfortable laid back position. My wife the same in her seat. Two hours later we were rested and arrived in style. The dollars spent, well we were on vacation. Its a once in a life time thing for us average folks. Australia was wonderful

@deadlyvirusgiver Have you ridden on that car, out of curiosity? I wonder because it seems like those who actually rode in that car claim it's EXTREMELY comfortable. In fact, Dan Neil, a LA Times car critic, took this car from LA to San Francisco and says he'd rather ride in this car than on a commerical plane even if the car took hours longer. So just b/c a car has gagetry doesn't always make it better.

I ask b/c those who did claim it's extremely comfortable and it 'disconnects' them from the outside world and one critics claim he'd rather ride in this car over a commericial jet. BTW, I've heard a car critic claim that the S-Class is more comfortable than the A8 eventhough the Merc doesn't have that 'Maybach' recliner. So, just b/c a car has more gagetry doesn't always make the car better or more comfortable. Maybe, looks aren't everything.

@unknownunknowns nope, never been in one to be honest (but I saw it quite close at various car shows). Of course, it's like a commercial jet inside, of course it's the most comfortable etc...to tell the truth, I dreamed of riding in one when I was younger. But spending that much money on a car is quite undecent IMHO. And furthermore, it does ressemble a S Class way too much to be exclusive, as claimed by the brand. As a proof, it failed to achieve the success it once aimed at.
