  • Wow another great video....cant believe I didnt visit this national park when I was in Thailand... it kinda reminds me of my own country New Zealand very green lots of bush/forrest/green...

  • how's the fishing? any thailand trout?

  • @warren1816 in a few more weeks, I'll have another waterfall video up from this same national park. There is a man fishing in the stream of that waterfall, but I don't know for what. We had fish for lunch at that other location, cooked by some locals...on the bank of that river...but I did not recognize the fish species. In the lowlands, in this part of the world, the fish are enormous-Google "giant mekong catfish" or "giant freshwater stingray" -this video, however was up in the mountains.

  • @joelp63 just an update. The video I'm referring to is now up. It's the Nam Tok Mae Klang video.

  • Meraviglioso!!!

  • What time of year is this at its' peak?

    Looks beautiful.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @gjsterp the rainy season at Doi Inthanon Park, I believe, is June-September. This was filmed in mid-October of this year, although this year was unusually wet. The waterfall is also at fairly high altitude, I think around 650 meters elevation -which undoubtably means increased precipitation. If you continue up the the road from this point, you will reach the top of the mountain (Doi Inthanon); the highest point in Thailand. I believe the summit of Doi Inthanon gets 2.5 meters of rain yearly.

  • Great ... I can't wait to go there next year!

  • Absolutely beautiful!
