Very wrong, actually. The gun is full steel, aluminum, and is also CNC machined, and licensed. You know how much that costs to make? The CNC Process of the materal will cost over $1,500 alone, not to mention MONTHS of just planning how to lay it out. Then you get the internals, and don't even get me started on the licensing, which costs a shitload aswell.

@DaysOfShadows Why the hell would you use a .50-cal on a soft target? The Barrett is too big and heavy to pick of individuals. It's not practical. Even though you are correct about more damage to a single target with the Intervention, the Barrett can go through 3 or more bodies. Also, it can easily punch through an engine block, making it a great vehicle stopper.
