@EdOwnz it's not fake. the true meaning of global warming is a climate change. it results in warmer temperatures for the upper north but cooler temps for the south which makes the worlds temperature more even therefore it is a constant changing weather. Every year there are thousands of record highs in the north; and other record lows mostly in the south.

More evidence of global warming, in my NW Fl home our pool had a nice cover of ice on top. It was thick enough that I had to work a little to break it up (ice not good for in-ground vinyl liners). Gosh, Al Gore says very cold temps are truly proof of global warming. Obama says that our utilities will rise significantly under cap and trade. BTW, scientists are now saying this may be a cooling period of at least 30 years! Jeez, not too much of the US south of here to move to for warmer temps.

@willisapril Miami is on the southernmost TIP of a VERY long land mass known as Florida. It is 900 miles from my town (in Florida) to Miami Beach. Believe me when I say winters can kill in NORTHERN Florida. Have you never seen news stories proclaiming "disaster in the orange industry" because of a freeze in Florida? We do not often get snow, but freezing temperatures are a common occurrence. Just last month, it dipped into the teens at night.

I live in Boca Raton, a coastal town North of Miami and I might just get cold rain today in the 40s but areas North of Okeechobee and South of Orlando may get freezing rain while areas North of Orlando and Tampa will get snow showers and flurries for the first half then freezing rain the last. If the cold airmass is in place around Florida like it has been, I do think there is some potential of snow in central and north Florida. Probably a few flurries, nothing more. I live in Charlotte, NC and the only thing we saw this winter was a short 10 minute snowfall so I am hoping for a dusting at least Thursday night. Hard to think it could snow in Florida if it barely snows here.

It doesn't even come close to the texture of frost. Frost isn't powdery looking in any shape or form, which the stuff on the grass, cars, and trees are.

It is most definitely snow.

I lived in Fla untill october of 76 at wich time we moved to Pa I was excited to see the snow and that was the year pittsburg got 3 ft of the stuff in just a couple of days and it was fallowed with 30 days of 10 below 0 temp people were going outside to get their mail and dieing from exposure and everyone was talking about its snowing in my old nieghberhood of Coco Beach Fla.All I can say is be carefull what you wish for.
