I had forgotten this song until hearing a fragment of it a few minutes ago. We're talking like 5 milliseconds. Powerful stuff, some music is. A puff, and it all comes flooding back.
Great song, great song, great song. "Somewhere a mountain is moving...afraid it's moving without me." One of the saddest lyrics in music history. Combine those words with the melody and you want to cry.
oh, my God...I'm trying to collect songs from my life...this video looks just like I see it in my mind. Just close your eyes, yeah, and she'll be there.
What a rare treat to hear this song and see your video. This has been one of my all-time favorites since I was I was a kid, a little ballerina myself. I could listen to this haunting song and dance around practicing my steps. Of course I'd also daydream of the wonderful guy who would fall in love with me someday and think of me when this song played. Thank you for this.
Just an amazingly beautiful song--I heard it a little over 20 years ago and I immediately fell in love with the melody, lyrics and the somewhat melancholy mood of the song. This to me is far superior to Walk Away Renee.
One of my all-time favorites. Everything about it just moved me right from the start; I think it is perfectly lovely. It is so pretty that it always will be. Thanks for the wonderful post.
I have a lot of favorites from the 60's, but this is near the top of a very long list. I was actually going to post it, but I see you have had this up for a while :) I couldn't have come close to the job you've done here...thanks!

Can anyone identify the ballerina appearing as Odile at 0:35? It's a well-known photo, but her name slips my mind. Thanks!
