Question -- Is there a similar video for the keyboard set-up that Hillsong has? I mean, ALL the keyboarding they use, just like The Droff shows for his guitar here? I couldn't find anything.
He guys! Somebody can tell me the name of the effect loop/switcher pedal? Is this pedal handles MIDI -> I mean: can this pedal control/steps the nova delay presets?
What is he, Abo? Maori? I'm contemplating whether or not to bid on a Boss Comp/Sustainer that some guy on ebay claims he bought it off of Nigel. What do you guys think? Is it genuine? And if so, would it be worth it? There's 3 hours left till auction's end, and there are curently 3 bidders, and the current bid is 33.00 USD. Worth it? Yes or no?
@DuscaManolescu late response but the boss compressor will make unwanted noise, an ideal compressor should have no unwanted noise and won't affect the tone. in the same price range you can find a better compressor such as the mxr pedals.
at :16 it shows his pedals on his pedalboard, now i do have a fair few pedals but am starting to get tired of transporting them everywhere to youth and what not and it's becoming a real problem, there is only so much my PRS case can hold...
does anybody know what brand that pedalboard is or where i can get one extreamly similar that can hold that many pedals... please help
@tahaw The pedal board is actually made by one of the other Hillsong guitarists, Timon Klein. He makes the boards and also the true bypass looper. They are pretty expensive especially since they are from Australia. Try checking out Road Rage Pro Gear or even Rondo Music. Hope that helps...God bless!
@29396 He does both. In this case the joyride pedal is his rythm overdrive and usually pedals with good sustain like the timmy pedal are better for soloing so when you stack them you get a bit of both. But I'm sure a small pedalboard like droff's sounds great because he uses a unique guitar and a tube amp.
Hey, @prettyoddtj, actually the main drive is the Od820, and the Sparkle is not for boosting the pedals, but rather the amp - to lead them to that add some sparkle (hehe), as he described.
From what I can see, his main board has : Sparkle Drive, Line 6 MM4, Fulltone Choralflange, Bixonic Expandora, VP Junior Volume Pedal, Fulltone Wah, Boss DD-5, Boss DM2, Maxon Overdrive (forgot the name), J&H Overdrive/Distortion, Boss TU2 Tuner, TC Electronics Nova Delay, with looper. Can't see whats at the top right corner.
Small Board: Tu2 Tuner, /13 Joyride, PaulC Timmy, and Boss DD-5 with tap tempo.
@GreySugizo are you talking about the one on the DD-5? If so, go to This1sMyne(dot)com
Dan Burgess, the guy who runs the company makes tap tempos that size and does a ton of other amazing work too! David Crowder Band uses his tap tempos, and he can do pedal mods as well.
search 'This1sMyne' on youtube as well, he's got some demo vids up!
Thanks for showin this stuff bro, you've got some good sounds, it's kinda funny acutally, I use the pld jekyll and hyde the nova delay, and the MM4 modulator all through an ac 15 as well
Droff - If you ever want to see Chicago, I have a whole crew of guys who would love to go downtown and take you around!

what does he mean by 1st stage overdrive?
29396 1 year ago
@29396 I think that means the main or 'rythm' overdrive. but he changes his overdive for soloing
serve4life 1 year ago
@serve4life Ok thanks :)
29396 1 year ago
@serve4life ok, another question, does he change them or stack them?

@serve4life Thank you, that helps so much! God bless :)
29396 1 year ago
@29396 he means a overdrive which is just pushing the amp into break up which just make the sound a little distorted if he hits the strings hard.
