how did you achieve to make the background look so white- light so the audience doesn't get distracted by the surroundings and it is only focused on the two characters ?i'm about to film something on a beach-quite a similar scene-and I am very interested in keeping the background the way you did.i will be using a canon 600d with 18-55 mm lens.pls reply asap.
i used a 7d with a basic lense and played with white on final cut pro color correction.
