In this particular generation of gaming your average Nintendo product consumer doesn't even know what E3 is. That alone shows a point of how ignorant these "casual" gamers are. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if your product is superior or inferior to your competitors, it's all about marketing. Take the iPod for example.
