Great to hear! Ya i've heard the same issues about the micro-switches, especially with the inertial sep. It is our first step up to PT6's. Ive managed to grab a lot of non logged turbine experience so I feel very comfortable and confident in the powerplants. Flight safety was a good way to solidify those operations.
hey, we are in the process of purchasing our 425 conquest in Canada. The SIDs are completed and they are in the process of just putting the aircraft back together, so it was great to see the aircraft in a raw state and to actually see how the spar strap etc is installed so on and so on. We decided to stick with the original -112 engines (4 blade props), and we are installing a G600 suite.
I am curious on your experience with the aircraft and what you found to be pros and cons.
I've got about 1500 hrs in the 425 and loved every minute of it. Super easy to fly, pilot's airplane. The PT6 + Autofeather in a 260KTAS airplane that can carry a good load, it doesn't get any better than that for a light turboprop. The only MX issues I had with them were the micro switches in the throttle quadrant and the fuel bladder tanks in the nacelles. Gave our company many years of reliable service. Will be a sweet bird with the G600 retrofit!

I'm assuming you don't fly that aircraft anymore?
