Y'know, Damn Small Linux is a grower. It does take some work. Like all distros, though, it is best suited to certain equipment. From my experience, DSL is perfect for PI, PII, and Celeron machines. Puppy or Crunchbang for PIII.
The only thing I would advise is that if you do not own a working internet connection, DSL is in my mind the wrong choice. You have to install a whole lot of tools if you want to use it as a independent os, and that is very easy via internet.

Wenn du sie LiveCD einlegst und neu startest sollte DamnSmallLinux booten. Danach klickst du auf den Desktop, wodurch ein Menü erscheint. Dort klickst du auf 'Setup' und dann müsste es dort irgendeinen Menüpunkt namens 'HD Install" oder so geben, das wählst du aus. Es erscheint ein Konsolenfenster und da musst du eigentlich nur immer mit 'y' bestätigen (das bisschen Englisch bei der Installation sollte kein Problem sein).

Nice video, makes me want to mess around with DSL again. It ran great on a p2 233mhz for me before.

moinsen kannste mir evtl sagen wie ich das am einfachsten installieren kann?
hab nen alten pc wollte das darauf installieren.
aber kriegs natürlich nich gebacken .
hab kein plan was ich da eingeben muss
