can someone help me whenever i try to load a save it says this "save was made on a newer version, please update the game" but I have no idea how to update, so can someone please reply to this comment
I've started playing on 1.2, but 1.3 had gone live where I was only like 10 hours into the game. I've read and applied all the precautions before start: HDD free space, disabling auto-save from the very beginning and so on. The result?
Currently 190 hours in, level 58, 13 MB save file size, EVERY quest progressed and completed correctly (101 quests completed), able to play 5 hours straight with only minor lagging from time to time.
I wish you the same so let's hope the 1.4 will do well!
@BlazeArceus777 i have a slim version,it will probably explode if i try it again. same for the xbox360 slim.. i dunno if you think 4 hours or more is too much, but i'm a huge elder scrolls nerd so you can't really blame me. :|
@serioussaad ok, disable all autosaves, and never play like 7 hours straight so you need to take a break bewteen 4 hours and youll be FINE. the number of hours played doesnt matter! i like how you take caution though
My game was fine. No major lag. No freezing (as in the screen just stopping and i have to reset console) but after about 35 + hours i started getting these infinite loading screens usually after dying. I think its happened 3 or 4 times now. It just loads forever. Very annoying.
I want to complement you on being so professional. Instead of being some whining jerk yelling at Bethesda your going about it in a really good manner. Also I am really thinking about buying this for ps3 cause my pc is terrible( can't even run minecraft ). So if I turn off autosave from the get go and try to get rid of any unwanted crap on my ps3 should it run pretty well?
I deleted ALL patches, started a new game, and it's been running PERFECT. I will never patch it again after seeing all the problems it STILL has, many not covered in this video. I could care less about some stupid ass bookshelves, I store mine in a dresser. Who cares about dead bodies showing up at your wedding, which lasts about 1 hour. ALL patches make so you cannot keep your dead thralls in your house, they dissappear instead. My magic resistance is good, everything is good :)
why does my alchemy fortification now stacks with the 1.3? this is really stressful because i have to do my 60 hours playthrough all over again because i can't reload the game without the patch! thanks a lot Bethesda
@TheSergiu199 Yep, the major issues don't usually start happening until between 40 and 60 hours in. More if you're lucky. The longer you play, the more severe the issues get.
60 hours here, working good as well: some minor lag in crowded areas and minor glitches, and about 6 locks since I am playing (launch day), but nothing making this game unplayable. It is a BIG game so I expected to suffer these things, also is very entertaining. Expecting the patch to improve the experiencie!!
i know ill probably recieve "No's" but should i buy Skyrim for my ps3? i only have a Ps3 and a Wii yet i know the ps3 suffers from horrible lag, but i really want this game, any comments?
@Beatles4office It all depends. If you do, you're taking a risk, because we really don't know if they'll ever fix the major issues. If you're willing to accept that then it all depends on how you play. For the first 40 hours or so, the game runs fine, but after that it's a mess, so it all depends on your pacing.
@FixSkyrim yeah thats what ivebeen reading its fine mainly for the first 40-60hours then begins to get the freezes and laggs constantly, or i can wait for some video game deals where ive seen Skyrim as low as $35 to $40

@MrConph123123123 since ive purchased it im 65 hours in with roughly 12mb save data, i have autosaves all turned off but one the Auto Save on Travel (Justin Case i lose my other data) and i have 2 save files, clearly i can feel lag but i have not yet reached the "Unplayable lag" once i enter a city i just wait a couple seconds before walking/running for the city to fully load, and when i fight dragons im fine, worse slow down was when i had all of Solitude after my head

Aside from our video showing off all general bugs, we also plan to go as in depth as possible on the PS3 lag issues, testing multiple things and more or less discounting Bethesda's dumb "workarounds". We'll have that up as soon as possible.
I found this worth logging in for xD This is professional stuff, I'm glad FixSkyrim is here to make it all clear. Thumbs up from me ;D It helps us poor PS3 players what NOT to do in this patch as well ;D
