  • what happened to putting a v6 instead of a stupid 4 cylender

  • nice video!! buick did really good on this car i really like the dual exhaust!!!!!!!!!!

  • The only Buick I'd buy. (Of course being a teenager, I'd DRIVE anything with wheels)

  • We Call It In Our Country The Vauxhall Insignia

  • song at 7:10

  • city fuel effeciency:

    10.5 l/100km

  • lol this is my Opel Insignia, you should hear the sound of the 2,0 liter Turbodiesel automatik 160 hp, you can hear the whistle of the turbine : D

  • Buick got it's swagger back.

  • @devilledevil98 What do you mean by that? What is 'swagger'

  • @christich99 Swagger by a dictionary's definition is strutting or walking with a lot of confidence, almost with insolence or arrogance but mostly in slang terms like how I used it means something really cool. haha

  • what's the matter? buick didn't wanna put 2 port holes on each side??

  • Buick Regal CXL Turbo ; 7,511L/100km in city,8500L/100km on highway.

  • This is how to ruin American Muscle!

  • @hafyzdinh yes because when you hear buick regal you think american muscle.stop posting stupid comments kthnx

  • It's an opel

  • @123cdecde its a holden

  • @MegaCodfreak99 @123cdecde No, it's a Buick. Holden(Australia) and Opel(Germany) are Buicks. Not the other way around. Holden and Opel are subsidiary companies to Buick. Get your facts straight.

  • @fallenupfromhell As Well As Vauxhall Insignia In The UK

  • @MrReece102 relatives yes. Buick and Vauxhall are owned by GM. But Holden Opel and one other company are owned by Buick. Vauxhall was the british equivalent of our Pontiac until pontiac went out of business.

  • Opel Insignia

  • haee what is Buick? is that a OPEL? Opel Astra?

  • Ummm.. this strangely look like an Opel Insignia.. Is this like Vauxhall for the Americans?

  • @TheBumish

It does look like an Opel insignia from Europe. No it's not Vauxhall for the US.

  • I bought a Turbo carbon black with 6-speed manual and T07 package (loaded all options, if you didn't know what it meant) About 3 weeks in, have 3800 miles on it. Averaged 34.1 MPG on first trip doing constant 75mph, did return at 80mph and still managed 33.4 MPG. Drove every car that was available with manual tranny that could be had well equipped between $30-35K. Lagacy GT, Volvo C30, VW CC, Audi A4, and some others not many available. This was my favorite. Great car, don't ignore it.

  • @TheMerls that is awsome

  • The back is the only thing that scares me off!

  • @nashville1510 Really? I love the back!

  • @evanbella99

    Just a little.

It takes a little time for it to grow on you

  • At the end its still a buick= a piece of garbage just like every other gm

  • @TheSaikou96

Do you know anything about GM or cars for that matter? Probably not, have fun in your beaten up barely running Civic.

  • @TheSaikou96 Your such a dumb prick you know nothing about cars. Please do use all a favor and shut the fuck up you dumb troll.

  • When I drove this car in sport mode, I fell in love, I would have bought it if I could afford it.

  • Vauxhall Insignia!

  • thank you Opel

  • Hey everybody hows it going?

  • I am getting the GS for my Birthday !!!!! Can't wait until its finally out.

  • beautiful car

  • wow...after watching the whole review....i kinda want one...can anyone tell me if this is the 2.0l ecotec?i would assume it isn't

  • so someone tell me...this isn't an american car? i don't give a fuck if it has american badges and designing i mean the engine/tranny? how can you even call it an american car if it's made elsewhere....i've been very dissapointed with domestic cars ever since the cancellation of the cobalt especially the ss version

  • @hellsphraust Its actually made in Canada in Oshawa, Ontario. :) its made alongside camaro's and equinox's. The car is based off the Opel Insignia. Opel is owned by an American Brand. General Motors. So in a way it has European Blood, but it is a Canadian/ American car more or less.

  • @furlano7:

Yes it is. The 2011 Buick Regal does look like the European Opel insignia.

  • this car is a opel

  • @ranurbmx1 no this car is based on Opel Insignia ;) i my dad have insignia is cool car and fun to drive but i hate opel :D

  • Great video. This was probably the best review of the Regal I found on the net and it was shot from a camera. Kudos bro.

  • the bird blowoff valve

  • you just did a new video with awesome quality on this car :D

  • the only thing i dont like about this car is that the nav isnt touch screen and is hard to use.

  • what are the flashing lights for?

  • @kuma982 they arnt flashing its from the effects of the camera

  • Damn this thing is sexy inside and out!

  • @EliteSlayer542 I drove one last night and said the same thing.

  • @EliteSlayer542 Yea i agree

  • Its a OPEL insignia with a Buick badge....

  • car looks so damn sexy i love it

  • This car is mixed with several other cars, such as VW, BMW. Why it had to be built in Germany, I have no idea.

  • @adiosk8r91 Probably because the car is based on an OPEL, and that platform is already built in Germany. Building it there probably means less overall cost for GM.

  • @scrappy349 I had no idea that it was based on an OPEL, good info thanks!

  • Buicks new line of cars are spectacular I love this car but I must check out the new lacrosse b4 I make my decision.

  • I know this is kinda old(considering the fact you have uploaded so many vids after this) but i saw a black(no racial) version of a regal and i now know this is my favorite car and im only 13 so i now know wut i want in 2 to 3 years and @furlano7 I 100% agree.

  • It is a Vauxhall Insignia with a Buick badge.

  • Nice Opel

  • Looks like everything else on the road: a hatchback profile without a hatch- what's the use of a large trunk with a mail slot sized opening?

If I want a Hyundai Sonata, I'll buy it from Hyundai, save some cash up front, and get better warranty coverage.

  • They have definitely taken the very nice route of going Euro-style. This definitely seems like a well completed feat. I mean the H/K sound system thats also widely used in Mercedes as well as the center knob for controls. All in all quite kudos to GM.

  • Nice car, good to see buick doing something. it would be cool if the aftermarket companies made some upgrades for the turbo or gm would offer a LS motor with a supercharger on one these. I had a 82 regal with a 455 in it ,I loved that car . the o.e. 3.8 v6 made it over 200k b4 i pulled it

  • i love this car.......

  • usually i feel that cars look their worst in white, but this car and the lacrosse look amazing in all of their colors. the design is so smooth and flawless. i love it. can't wait to test drive.

  • JUST A VAUXHALL INSIGNIA:O

  • isn't this an opel insignia ? why do they change the brand : vauxhall / buick ..... pffffffff

  • Comment removed

  • @furlano7 nothing made by GM is any good!

  • @furlano7 I'm looking for a car, and I LOVE this one!

  • @furlano7 I agree, I am 18, and have owned a '97 LeSabre and loved it, I also own a '77 Buick LeSabre. Buick is by far my favorite brand of car. I would love to get a '87 GN, or Reatta or a late 90's Riviera. You can't beat a Buick. I would trade my VW Jetta for a Buick in a heartbeat.

  • @furlano7 ive always loved buick. a fine car. although im not too keen yet on 4 cylinder buicks. seems out of character. but im open minded on that

  • @furlano7 After owning a 2003 chevy impala, this shouldn't be bad at all.

  • @furlano7 Agreed dude. I doubt you Buick haters have ever heard of the Grand National? One of the fastest production cars ever made in the 80s..... by Buick. Also it was a V6 Automatic. It kicked Camaro/Mustang ass constantly completely stock. Look it up.

  • @furlano7 yea but would u rather dirve this or a 1987 grand national i would rather the grand national

  • Comment removed

  • @xdavstratx Both are nice cars, but i would drive this if i had the choice. This is more practical, has better fuel efficiency, better performing, and more modern styling. Ive driven the New regal and it is fantastic.

  • @furlano7 i agree with the practical and modern styling but i think the fuel efficiency on a stock gn was 17 city 25 hwy and would smoke the new one i agree with it being more practical cause the grand national is a theft prone car

  • @xdavstratx the 2011 buick regal CXL does 30mpg on the highway

  • i like this car. except the wood trims.

  • this is a great fully german car and its a vauxhall insignia. but it has a buick emblem so no. person 1: "so what kinda car are you driving these days?" person 2: "oh its a buick!" person 1: "HAHAHAHAH LOSER!" yep exactly why i wouldnt buy one

  • @zackdl You should probably stick with a badge rather than a good car. Get a crappy BMW and watch it break all the time. At least you can explain to the tow truck driver why your automatic transmission slammed into park, or your turbos failed.

  • @zackdl

Anyone who doesn't take one for a test drive and drives it, is an idiot. This is not your Grandpas Buick. We need to change ppl opinions. I am defiantly looking at the GS model.

  • this needs a v8...

  • @yuyusuck My thoughts exactly.

  • Wow, they gave you a Turbo without the Interactive Drive Control System option...

  • thats an opel/vauxhall insignia with a buick badge on it. i like the car, but god i hate GM

  • Really feelin' Buick's new Regal, can't wait for the Regal GS. Hope they bring out a Regal Coupe or the Riviera Concept to production.

  • I wish they would put this interior in the Lacrosse. The Lacrosse's interior is raising the bar for Buick interiors, but it is a bit too wild for me.

  • I wish they would put this interior in the Lacrosse.

  • this may be the first GM car that I like.

  • ive never sat in a car with

    000015

    mileage :(

  • Was it a diesel it sounds like one

  • this car is so different from previous buicks. Their old way of making cars was so fail that they had to borrow in order to stay afloat

  • Buick Regal aka Opel Insignia!

  • they need to make a grand national version

  • CSI f**k yeah, and it's Opel insignia imtation, and also a Chevy Cruze indoor imitation, not all but some lines....

  • Opel insignia imitation!

  • @FsRulz

It's not really an imitation when they are the same company is it..

  • @FsRulz opel is from general motors....

  • Just want to congratulate you on all of your recent success. Its great that you are able to preview new vehicles, such as the the Buick Regal. Keep up the good work. Hope that many doors continue to open for you.

  • thumbs up for test drive ! lol

  • was that car you test drove generally quiet? People say Buick's are really quiet but from the test drive I really couldn't tell...

  • be nice if they had the supercharged 3800 in it

  • @brians09challenger Sonata is not in the same class as this car. Its cheaper for a reason....its cheap because its cheaply made.

  • This comment has received too many negative votes

  • @krakmxer - You had me on there for a second! :D

  • WMG must have relaxed their restrictions cause now you let the songs play much longer.

  • if this is the Opel Insignia..then what is the Lucerene a version of then? because the Lucerene looks like an Opel as well....Kyle please let me know in a PM!

    Thanks!

  • O Epic was on the radio. One of my favorite songs.

  • your genesis coupe is on 00:26

  • Thinking about swapping one of these 200 + horsepower turbo 4 bangers into a Fiero when they start hitting the junkyards.

  • This car is sooooo boring! Buicks will always be as interesting as porridge and cardboard boxes. The fact that they put a turbo in it makes it even more gay!

  • hey kyle u don't do test drive no more why? i love that car

  • Nice. The Who. Win.....oh and the Buick is nice too :-P

  • its a great car ...looks amazing from outside...and a car to compete with German cars from the interior.....but the engine is not a good idea, and the layout too

  • Do thesecar companies expect u to fill a brand new vehicle up once purchased

  • @timforsyth89 No, some can fill them up for you free of charge.

  • Fantastic cars! I drive the Vauxhall Insignia which is the same and it's better than the VW's, BMW's and Audi's we also have at work! great video!

  • LOL. This one looks better than the Opel Insignia.

  • @12daniel06 it's the same as the Opel Insignia and the Vauxhall insignia and the Holden Insignia!

  • Comment removed

  • @12daniel06 - Yet it's the exact same car in pretty much every way apart from the badge.

  • What was the Buick at 0:24?

Looks exactly like the GTA 4 BOGT Car! :P

  • @MyRandomReviews That's the new Buick Lacrosse.

  • @jjchargerboy16 - I think these designs are a grave improvement to the offerings of past. However, I don't think I'd ever buy a new Buick, mostly because I live in England, and I'd have to import it. But I could buy a Vauxhall Insignia which is the same as this car - but they just seem rather soulless and certainly cheap and tacky. I have to admit they are cheap though. :P

  • @MyRandomReviews I hope after college, I get to work on those Buick's. I love the Regals, & Lacrosse.

  • @jjchargerboy16 - If you put your mind to it you can do anything - just make sure you try and you can do what you want. Best of luck. :)

  • @MyRandomReviews Thanks, I'm going to be one of the best mechanic/technician out there.

  • As much as the car cost it should have keyless access and starting

  • Can you make a review for galant 2010 ? I think of buying it

  • @theMK3 Why the Galant? Its not a bad car but why not a Fusion?

  • YES Short testdrive, AWSOME!

  • vauxhall insignia

  • Sorry for commenting again :D but you just made me diside which car i am to get !! :D

  • DUDE I NEED THAT OPEL INSIGNIA IT'S SOO COOL AND AWESOME :D

  • A four-cylinder and a snail in an American car? Impossible. Everything here has at least 6 cylinders or a supercharger. Turbos are un-american.

    /sarcasm

  • that engine bay is pretty loud , my 98 camry was way quieter.

  • It's and opel Insignia !

  • Nice

  • very nice car and video, I thought you missed a couple things though. No exhaust sound from the rear and you didn't demonstrate this autostick feature while driving.

  • This car should have been a Pontiac. Its too sporty to be associated with Buick. They are really asking a lot to have Gen X and Gen Y customers into their showrooms. Those 2 generations grew up with their grandparents driving Buicks, which is why we associate old person car with Buick.

  • WOW. that center stack is button heavy... way worst than a TSX.

  • GM just copied the Hyundai Sonata's powertrain options but the Hyundai has way more power from the Turbo version. Im kind of disappointed that it only makes 220 hp bc hyundai was able to get 274 from the same displacement and single turbocharger... I read the Turbo version still takes 7.5 secs to hit 60... not any quicker than a base 4 cylinder Acura TSX and the V6 version will rape it. Its too large on the outside and too heavy to be a proper sport sedan. Not to mention its still a BUICK.

  • You can definitely hear the turbo!

  • Its 10 hours away like I said

  • the opel insgnia.

  • Like I said its not that far from buffalo a few hours away

  • 2.0? fuckin a

  • I've heard Americans like big engines, so I don't understand why GM didn't use 2.8 V6 Turbo (260hp) from top of the line Opel Insignia? Is it be a GS model?

Funny thing is that we don’t get 2.4L which is base motor in Buick, instead we have 1.6L (115hp), 1.8L (140hp) and 1.6Turbo (180hp), and 3 diesels.

  • @gazela1981 i don t understand wy buick not design or made there own regal

or take plat form and build there own body.cheaper to copy paste.same for chevy cruise its a opel insignia

  • The side profile especially the c-pillars remind me of the Jag XF. Nonetheless, a beautifully designed car.

  • I have always been a fan of Buicks, but the new Regal is the icing on the cake and the third of three absolutely fantastic products (the Enclave, Lacrosse, and Regal)!!!! I really like it in white too. Can you get it with factory installed remote start? I noticed that both Regals that you tested do not have it, and I'd be a little surprised if you can't since most GM products are offered with it now. In respsonse to the review above, it is definitely not a clone of the Cobalt.

  • Beautiful car...thanks for sharing!

  • nice! but classics american cars with test drives! ;)

  • I'm loving the Euro Buick Regal! Much nicer than the Cadillac Catera. Thanks for reviewing this car! BTW, you better have something special planned for you 1000th video, Kyle!

  • LOL CSI intro :)

  • and also, this is a very solid car. too bad it's Front Wheel Drive. I think Buick, and every automotive brand should offer some RWD cars.

  • @Maserati7200 Nothing bad about FWD in this car. It handles very good. Its available with 4x4 too.

  • what happend to daves farm's channel?

  • 6:35 Who Are You? by the Who. Great song.

  • i was choosing between buying this or the 2011 sonata. this had the ambient lighting going for it, and the sonata, well, the sonata had larger space, better exterior styling, more standard features, and cost less... the choice was clear. =P

  • @ktonlai Sorry, but you've made a completely wrong choice. :P

Sonata and Insignia (Regal) arent even in the same class. Sonata is in budget category of the class, Insignia leans more towards premium segment to compete with bmw 3, audi a4 , volvo s60, passat cc etc.

Insignia is a better car in every single way, especially in interior. No cars currently sold in US market except for german trio (A4, 3, C class) and Volvo S60 is better than this. Japanese and Korean cars are below in every term.

  • @derbigpr500 sorry i'm not made of money and put consideration into value over the germans' image of quality (which are continually ranked amongst the lowest among manufacturers since the late 90's)

also, upon further inspection i realize that i was looking at the lacrosse, i mixed it up with the regal since the interiors are so similar.

  • @ktonlai German cars have an image of quality for a reason. If someone doesnt recognize that quality, then he doesnt know anything about cars. And as for german cars being ranked among the lowest....where did you get that from? Thats just a ridiculous statement. If you refeering to people who take their cars into service station once every 5 years and put the cheapest fuel inside, and then complain somethings broken (which 90% of americans who drive euro cars do), then....

  • @ktonlai European cars are the best in the world. And by a VERY large margin. Who doesnt agree, again, doesnt know anything about cars. Thats not being rude, or arrogant, its just a plain fact. And germans make the best cars in europe, which, makes them the best automakers in the world. Again, everyone who knows something about cars will agree. American cars, are sadly, at the last place toghther with Australian, behind Japanese and Korean cars.

  • @derbigpr500 .... "knows something about cars" you sound like you came straight from the 1980's.. get with the times... the german might make semi innovative cars, and good looking cars, but their car quality consistently rates below average: usatoday .com/money/autos/2008-10-23-cr-reliability-ranking_N . htm

it also sounds like your ranking by country is based out of your personal opinion and not real facts.

  • @ktonlai id also like to state that while the germans had their time, they are now floating on an empty image of quality and reputation , which is reinforced by their high prices and people think that they pay for what they get... even if it's shit... MB reached its peak with the 300D and their other super reliable diesels but now their time has passed

  • @ktonlai I'd also like to ask you if you know that Opel Insignia is the cheapest car in its class in europe? There are 11 cars in that class that are more expensive (Merc C, Audi A4, Bmw 3, Alfa romeo 159, Renault Laguna 2011, Citroen C5, Peugeot 508, Skoda Superb, VW Passat, Passat CC, Volvo S60). So, the cheapest, and one of the worst (if you check out the others i mentioned) car in small saloon class in europe is better than anything that any US manufacturer can offer. And this is a fact.
