@sickau4032 Terry had position on Dale's inside. Dale tried to block but it was too late, that's why he drifted up the racetrack. This is a big difference from hitting somebody from behind. Terry had the better car and the fresher tires and deserved to win. To quote Harry Hogge from Days of Thunder, Dale had to resort to "low-down, shit-ass racing".

It's plausible. Not saying I know exactly what was going through Dale's mind, but if there was intent, Dale was able to do it in such a way that a shadow of doubt can be cast.

Maybe its just me but it looked like Terry bottomed out and thats why Dale was able to get back to him......look for the sparks.

Yeah he had to dive into the turn really hard to clear earnhardt, when he did he bottomed out making his car tight since it seemed like it came from the right front.

He really should've just taken it easy in because earnhardt had no chance with the drive off labonte was able to get with new tires.

If it was in a COT or any car before the 90s they probably would've just bumped with no spin but these cars in the mid 90s-Cot just couldnt make contact like that without spinning.

I seriously believe he was just trying to rattle terry's cage, he got up behind him and not into the fender, and was trying to bump him and send him a message, turned around on him and he didn't come out squeky clean. That's why they call him the intimadator

@guyonutube123 You're a moron if you seriously believe that! As big an asshole as Dale Earnhardt was, he was a talented racecar driver. You don't "rattle someone's cage" going full speed in the middle of the corner at Bristol. Dale Earnhardt knew better but he tried to play innocent so his stupid fans would believe him. Wrecking someone so you can win is not intimidating, it's being an asshole. Trust me, if the tables were turned you would be singing a different tune.
