That track was Lonehill. Just outside of Jo'burg. Used to get hot as hell out there, so we used to lake jump old bikes into the dam just down the hill from the track. Guys like Matthew Kimble and Craig Arnoldi were the big local riders. So funny watching it now, the races seemed so much faster when I was 13! Good times!

That video is from South Africa. The Mongoose rider that came in second is Matthew Kimble, unfortunately passed away about ten years ago on the way home from a mountain bike race. R.I.P.
