Britney was a model as well as a singer.. She didn't have a social childhood with friends that much, because her parents were worried she'll herself and if she did hurt herself the modelling company would drop her. Poor Britney :(

The current, well, er... previous maturation of her voice was entirely manufactured. If she continued to sing with the voice we hear in this video, then she would have probably been on Broadway, with a similar sound as Judy Garland. I wish that she remained strong and disallowed the entertainment business to transform who she was as a person. So sad...
