Youth Basketball Defense - What Should You Teach?

i took a timeout to remind the kids what defense the were in and when i pulled the board out they told me to put it away they know what they need to do i was happy and smiled and said ok you guys already know.

some good points i coach 4/5 boys we played strict man to man defense, i only had 6 players plus we were undersized the other team had 12 players and were tall we lost 24-6 but they trapped played extended 3 2 zone i etc but in game my players were much more physical. the offense we run is nothing technical just share the ball and get to open spots the kids love the freedom.
