  • Note raoh belived in fear and power but to a degree he used that to keep order if the men abused this raoh would let them know his displeasure by his fist or the hooves of his giant horse or ryuga

  • @mojothemigo

    So like Char Aznable?

Someone who thinks he is doing good, but goes about it the wrong way.

  • Raoh punching the giant tiger's head off is one of the most badass villain introductions I can recall in ANY anime.

  • Roah=Big Brother. Must be defeated! But the pinnacle of tyrannical power which is admired and loved

  • i feel so sorry for the biggest fucking tiger i've ever seen.

  • @pyrokirin1

At least one animal would believed in Raoh...

    K-O-K-U-O-H!!!

...who can take on a tank calvary on his own if he wanted too.

  • that's nothing, toki would have given the tiger a nice big hug and then take it for a walk.

  • @heartlessjerk

    Yeah, I'd believe it.

  • Ryuken should have brought kintaro against raoh not a mere tiger on steroid lol!!

  • This manga never get old !!! it's much much much much much much better than naruto!!!

  • @MrVampiro22

The Side Gaidens are even more hilarious. Heck, Souten no Ken was a bit amusing cause you see a glimpse of a what if...what if Kenshiro looked like a dork.

  • Man, the BGM at the beginning is awesome.

  • In Ken Shiro's world, tigers bleed milk.

  • i wanna be like raoh when i grow up

  • このBGMなんか好き。

  • I WANT THAT HORSE KNOW did you guys see how fucking awesome and huge it is! wow going to school in it like a BOSS

  • Raoh was really badass and definitely the best villain of the series, but it's not entirely accurate to portray him as being less evil than the average villains of the show. Many of the nastiest, most cruel villains were followers of Raoh/Ken-Oh: don't forget that Jagi, Yuda and Amiba were all working for Raoh, and most if not all of the evil deeds they did were with his approval. Aside from Souther and Shin (and their followers) most of the series' villains were part of Ken-Oh's army.

  • @dark7element He didn't go around killing innocent people for no apparent reason or justification. He said that in order to control a world of monsters, he most become a monster himself. He could not control everything that happened in his territory. Not during his conquest at least. He allowed them to do as they pleased as payment for their loyalty and service - like a good king should. After his first army of creeps abandoned him, notice how his second army was comprised of dignified men.

  • I cant get Charlie Sheen's rant out of my head. Just look at Raoh's face:

@2:50 Raoh: "I bang seven gram rocks, thats how I roll. WINNING."

@3:40 Raoh: "C'mon bro I got tiger blood - WINNING."

  • 日清ら王

  • change the title from Roah to Raoh

  • kkkkkkkkkk

  • If I were to search for search for this & buy online; what search terms would I need to enter please?

  • @manicd81 atatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatata!! :)

  • @GP1583 :)

  • ...Raoh.

  • Is that what Frosted Flakes really supposed to do? because that's one big ass freaking Tiger.

  • With Eyebrows like Kenshiro. I'd back off too....

  • 3:39 : Fatality !

  • Raoh can decapitate a giant tiger with his bare hand. Your argument is invalid.

  • @GreatestMKfighter What if kenshiro lost lets say, then raoh confronts kaioh???

    This would be interesting

  • this reminds me ... if Raoh won instead of Kenshiro in HnK and faught Kaioh in HnK 2 i wonder who would win? .. Also would raoh accept Hokuto Ryuken or stick with Hokuto Shinken??

  • I think Raoh already knew the Hokuto Ryuken secret, its tought to say but I think he would win.Raoh might have lost to Ken because his feelings got to him since most of his life he rejected his feeling in order to become The conqueror.

  • Apparently that tiger was being fed the same superpowered steroids that turned so many guys in post-apocalyptic Japan into 15-foot tall ogres.

  • Yup...Even the Big Tiger has no match for them.......

  • By the way, dubbing is (partially) wrong. The truth is the tiger was in total inability in front of Kenshiro. By looking at him, he was prepared to die by his hand, aknowledging him as his superior.

But Raoh inspired him nothing more than fear and evil; he was seeing him as a mortal enemy.

kenshiro's spirit proved to be above anything on earth. Even the most fearsome tiger.

  • @E1N9A8N0DA I think you mean 'subbing'. Anyway, Ryuken asks "What is the meaning of the assassination style?"

Kenshiro was able to calm the tiger with his aura, which makes him the perfect assassin, as the enemy cannot sense his intent. Raoh, on the other hand, overwhelmed the tiger with his violent aura, which betrays the essence of being an assassin.

  • How can anyone mispell such a great and worldwide known name ??...

Its Raoh, not Roah !!! (>_<)

  • 3:33 3:40 Try finding that in DBZ....

  • Raoh stops tiger. Ryuken: "Interesting."

Raoh beheads tiger. Ryuken: "What the hell...?"

  • Kenshiro's stare at the tiger just screams, "C'mon, bitch! Just TRY and do something!"

  • THAT WAS A BIG ASS TIGER.

  • la paix est une force meme dans la pauvreté. Tu peux garder ton calme mais la richesse parfois fait perdre le control de la force

en deux mots l'orgueil est la force de l'imbecilité

  • Love the tiger's oh shit expression as its head is about to get ripped off.

  • what is that statue behind ryuken?

  • @lordtikiman that is ashura (阿修羅), a god of battle in indian myth. japanese are influenced by buddhism and that's why you can see some indian culture in this animation.

  • The artwork, animation, characters, music.

Watching this is a pure pleasure.

  • what episode is?

  • Love the old flashback of Ryuken's teachings! Hokuto School is always Cool!

  • Its' so fascist! Its' so fascist! Its' so fascist! Its' so fascist! Its' so fascist!

  • god damnnow that's some music.

  • long live the king of hokuto.

  • That is the biggest fucking tiger I have ever seen.

  • @ThatSatyr Amen!!

  • @ThatSatyr I second that!

  • @ThatSatyr haahhaahahahahh XD it's bigger than an elephant.

  • who would win: Raoh or Kaioh?

  • i think kaioh because he got this dark energy thing and would've beat him for the first time like kenshiro...but unlike kenshiro, raoh dont have friends who would sacrifice themselves for him to survive and learn.

he also need to have kindness or something and he is a little lacking there.

  • Disagree. According to the storyline, Lin, Kenshiro, Jukei and others have all predicted that Raoh can defeat Kaioh. Another thing you have missed is that, in order for Kenshiro to defeat Kaioh, he needed the messages from the female statue. It was Hyoh who hold that secret, which was why Jukei tried to unlock his seal on Hyoh's memory upon learning Kenshiro is the one who crossed the ocean. Anyway, the point is that Raoh knows about female statue and Kenshiro did not.

  • I doubt raoh knew about the statue. Only those born into the dominant family had the knowledge of that and the location.

  • Ken, Good point. I guess what you said makes logical sense, but somehow I remember something in the anime which made me believes Raoh knows the location of the female statue. I may rewatch the anime again to confirm that.

  • I like Raoh because despite his power, he wasn't among the most evil villains of the series and possabley the least. He was ruthless, but not sadistic. He had the mindset of a medieval conquerer, not one of the bloodlusting bandits of the series. If there was no Kenshiro, I would be much happyer with Roah incharge then any other villain of the series.

  • @mojothemigo what are you talking about?!! Raoh was a ruthless, tyrannical, cold blooded murderer!!

  • @MariusLio I'm grading on a scale dagnabit ! He killed his own men when he found out they were sadisticaly torturing people and had his General (Ryuuga? wolf cold fist guy) kill men for the same reason. Again, yeah he is a ruthless facist dictator and a very poor ideal compared to a democratic republic. I would not have been one of the people crying at his IRL funeral and yeah he did have an IRL funeral a couple years back. He is just Genghis Kahn -bad- compared to Caligula -MUCH worse-

  • @mojothemigo i understand what you're saying, he didn't kill people for fun like yuda or souther for example

im not a big expert in hnk history but i remeber seeing a part where he and his men threatened to kill fudo's children

to me he was very scary, a devil

  • @MariusLio

That was after Raoh had become completely desperate and terrified after Kenshiro curb stomped him in their second fight. He came to the conclusion that overcoming Fudo (the only man who ever scared him before Kenshiro) was the only way to overcome fear once and for all.

He was hardly acting like he normally did for most of the anime, instead he acted out of fear for the first time since his childhood.

  • @mojothemigo Raoh = Genghis Khan

  • @milvipes He is, he is! IF you scroll back enough, I think I compared him to GK. I wouldn't be surprised if the author had him in mind

  • @mojothemigo Raoh certainly attracted more than his fair share of righteous men to join his ranks, something that can not be done with sheer brute force.

Recall Temujin was able to augment his tribal confederation even when the odds were against him (the wars against Jamuqa & Toghrul Ong Khan), again something that can not be done with simple threat of violence.

  • "Wherever Hokuto appears... Chaos Follows..."

That HNK game from Arcade and PS2 was awesome

  • yeah it's a good game I think the best character is Raoh xDXD

  • Raoh is 210cm and 150kg and quite similar to Chinese former NBA player Mengke Bateer. He had ever owned Shaq on the court. So now, Raoh is at least stronger than Shaq. Wow!

  • Raoh has 3m according to wikipedia.... i don't know if it's accurate though

  • He is definetely taller than 210cm.

  • Time out I'm a old fan of the serious but did he just rip that tiger's fucking head off, I remember why I loved this show now. Great Vid.

  • You got to admit, Raoh is another one of the greatest villains in fiction. It's not really his size that's intimidating, but its his power, strength and cleverness that makes him a worthy foe. Without guys like him, Kenshiro's job as the good guy would be too easy. If there's one guy I can think of who can give a challenge, its definitely Raoh. He's da man!

  • what about Jagi? He is very cunning and sly, especially in the animated movie which portrayed him better then in the series.

  • Well I guess Jagi can approve as one of Ken's most menacing villains despite his short lived fight against him. But I think the weakest of Ken's villains (and not the guys who were too easy to take down) was Seiji from "Shin Hokuto no Ken" who looks so much like Rei, but had a weaker fighting style to Ken. If you ask me, anybody could beat Seiji in a fight within seconds; Shin, Raoh, and even Souther. Speaking of which, Souther was yet another great challenger who Kenshiro fought against.

  • Is Raoh gonna have to choke a bitch?!

Sorry. I felt like saying that.

  • I love this tiger, it looks like an elephant or something LOL

  • anybody notice that raohs eyebrows continually disappear beneath his forehead? lol but raohs a monster 4show

  • been trying to find northstar video for years thanks

  • Raoh would beat M.Bison.

  • I'm afraid so. Raoh is a real badass.

  • Raoh would absolutely demolish any of the usual fighting game bosses such as Bison, Geese, Shao Kahn, etc.

  • Raoh vs. Akuma would be one hell of a match. :p

Also...talk of fighting spirit is splitting hairs when YOU CAN RIP OFF A TIGER'S HEAD. XD

  • This video is AWESOME. Thanks for sharing.

  • guaa, que bueno esta, muchas grasias XenSoldat.

    pon mas plz

  • Yeah, well, the animators of HNK have never really been good at proportions. 12 year old children never reach above the ankles of the average grown men in the series, Raoh seems to grow by 10 metres for every episode and whatnot, and Fudoh's kids are about the size of his nostrils.

  • I was thinking that it was their way of exaggerating power and all, but it just looks weird.

  • I think in the comic they disclose that certain men are massive because of exposure to radiation.

  • But raoh was massive before the war to. :P

  • Great introduction of Raoh. But it is interesting to see that Raoh is just a little bigger than Ken whereas when he fights Juuza he is a Giant. I think that the people who drew him eventually got lazy. I also love the tiger and how big it is due to radiation.

  • Finally more kenshiro, XenSolodat post more HKN onegaishimasu

  • Can one reply to their own first comment, Indeed its possible, I love this anime, its so bad ass i might go buy it for once, unless anyone can tell me where i can download it in about a month or less, so let me know people note i've watched this video 20 times at least so far
