I suggest making a American, Japanese and English account with different user profiles so you can access all three stores (with slightly differing content) quickly.

All demos, videos and add-ons are downloaded to all your user profiles.

I used to like the PS3.... until I found out that the blu ray disc reader messes up after a year to a year and a half, sometime AFTER the warranty expires. Which is great cause I love to pay 150 dollar fees for something that I payed 500 for to last for a long time! You rock Sony!
