OTHER people like them, and they made a difference in Rock & Roll as we know it. Without ABBA there could be no Elton John because he was influenced by ABBA, and without Elton John, there could be no U2, and without U2, I wouldn't be the person I am today! So the Hall of Fame inducts people who DESERVE to be in!

@CMD9889 Well just because you like them and the awful voters elected them in doesnt make it very special. The voters arent even musicians. Just because the Doors are in the HOF doesnt make them well rated. The Doors are underrated as musicians, people want to call Morrison overrated ( i think he was very misunderstood) , and Morrison was considered the face of the band, therefore people wanted to label The Doors as overrated

@noobpowner901 I see your point, but obviously you don't see my point. To get in the Hall of Fame, you have to have reached certain milestones, like you have to had 100 million albums sold worldwide. And to do that, you obviously have to be good, and therefore popular. But I do agree with you saying Morrison was misunderstood and that, in that way, makes The Doors underrated.
