On 5th Jan 2010 @ 3:12am my gorgeous girl Kaycee came into our family. I gave birth naturally after 8hrs of labour with no pain relief. Kaycee was breastfeeding within a minute of being born & we were home the next day settling into family life. You have been an absolute inspiration to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I too had a traumatic experience with my first child which ended up via c-sec. It took my nearly 10 yrs to decide to bring another beautiful person into our family. Your video was my saviour & got me thru the emotional hurdles of wondering if my body can do it! Can I have a healthy baby out of my vagina!!!!!
this is something that make me want to push myself on doing my birth cause i donr had 2 c-section my 1st was the dr didnt want to wait and let my body do what it need to do. and for my 2nd my dr was so inpatient.... and now i am pregnant with my 3rd and i want to have my vbac really bad this is something i have alway dream about. but the only problem i have is there is no dr are midwives in texas that will do a vac.... please tell me what should i do......

Your story is so inspiring! I had a failure to progress csection with my daughter 2 years ago due to a failed induction as well. I'm expecting my second daughter this May and am planning a waterbirth with a midwife. Your daughter's birth and the feelings and fears you had afterwards sounds so much like my story. I am confident that my VBAC journey will end the same way yours did.
Love your video. I watched "welcome River Anthony Matthews" and cried...this was so very touching. I had a emergency c-section with our fourth and fought hard with the hospital to have our last natural. Looking back, wished I had him at home. Its great to hear that you became informed, and a midwife/Doula.
I am so glad I learned about at home births! I'm excited to have my next one at home! :D
