  • that is such a ince car :) if you have to sell it, how much would that cost?

  • they actually handle quite nice

    unless ur a pussy

  • That noise... It's a symphony of power.

  • Zajebisty:) chce Tarkiego:)

  • Is it still powered by its original flathead ? Sure sounds nice

  • designed for comfort is right, you feel like a million bucks when riding in a lead slead. to me it doesnt matter how fast you are going because you get looks wherever you go. the old timers nod at you and the new age guys tip their hats (those who have respect anyway) for me being only 26 yrs old i should be riding around in a fast and furious car right? but also being mexican i love the bomb look of this particular car. 49-51 mercurys are the best for lead sleads.....low and slow

  • NICE!! See mine, on my johnlovestimi channel.

  • Great looking car. Love it down to every detail. My favorite part is the sound. This video is depressing. My 63 year old dad has his dream 1949 2 door primard Merc body on rolling chassi sitting in his shop knowing that it will never be what is in his dreams. I would give anything to se that car the way he wants it so he is happy. Good lookin' ride men.

  • outstanding paintjob dude!

  • 1950 Mercury's are my favorite classic cars. I want to buy one and fix it up.

  • Empty Vessels makes more noise.......Lolz

  • Try Asian women **busizz4me.info**

  • That is an amazingly beautiful car.

  • this vehicle is beautiful omg just YUMMM

  • Real Asian women are there online now lushfmlk.info

  • beautiful!

  • This car makes me think about the movie Cobra :-)

  • mercuries should have came out of the factory chopped they look so normal chopped

  • Henry would have been proud.

  • wow! omg!! amazing car!!!

  • nice sound great car...how many time did u spend for re-build ? 5*****

  • I like it!!!!

  • so expensive to buy, wit so much work to be done to them.... But wut a jem to own....

  • Cold bloodied ride, i love it !

  • Best looking car ever built. I want one!

  • une mexicano q sepa donde asen las replicas de estos autos lojico en mexico

  • Congratulations by car, my dream is to have a mercury like that here in Brazil is not easy to find one of those, car pretty much perfect.

  • hello from Hong Kong, i was just wondering are there any RHD versions of such similar vehicles? please advise; many thanks!

  • I assume RHD means right-hand-drive. We dont show those cars because we haven't had any to show. Those were all shipped out of the US, since we use left-hand drive.

We do have an RHD that is in the shop now, a car from New Zealand, that will be on the web-site next month.

  • thanks can't wait to see it!

  • Sounds like an old tractor

  • @freshyip im not even gonna lie

a rhd merc would be bad muthafuckin ass

  • is it true this car is a bad handler?

  • This particular car handles as well as most early 50's cars. Its a big, heavy car riding on 50's chassis and suspension.

Compared to today's cars, it handles like a city bus. But then it was not designed for driving fast. It was designed for comfort.

  • its supposed to be cruised not raced around bends.

  • dirtballdan1000 : Agree 100 % .

  • @Salesman depends on your idea of bad.. if youve ever driven a big car on a fast turn, or experienced body roll, then no..lol

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • Why do people Chop the top off? I know its stylish but cmon these rare cars being choped down? Anyways I would like to own one of these with a supercharged Flathead V8 that doesnt have a mailbox sticking out the top of the hood.

  • This car was already chopped when we got it. We did a re-resto on it. You can see the complete project on our website.

  • I know I went to this video because of your site. Too bad the new owners didnt like the cool gold and yellow paint :{

  • a guy i worked with once tried to get me to believe that he wanted a 49-51 merc because a p-51 mustang engine would fit in it...he was so full of shit...i love this car though...

  • The enngine bay is big, but I doubt a v-12 Rolls-Royce Merlin engine would fit without major modifications... but it might be doable.

Of course, the torque that motor produces would twist it like a pretzel.

  • well this is also from a guy who said a friend of his had a cobra with a muncie 5 speed with a hydralic pump that shifted it automatically so fast that he couldnt reach up to the dash to grab a dollar bill because of the force...the guy was completely full of shit...i talked to my auto shop professor and he said that the way the merlin engine worked there was no way it could power the car...i dunno...stupid idea anyway...

  • Very dumb idea, especially when there are so many other proven options that could provide more than enough power.

Some people just find fantasy more interesting than reality. I wonder if he wanted to wings on the merc, too.

  • GOD! I'M JEALOUS!!! that's a fudging sweet car!!! I love it! been looking for one like that for a while! :)

  • nice ride bro. Thought I saw an old Studebaker when the Merc was backing up.

  • You did. Its a 1953 Studebaker Starlite Coupe. Its a half finished project that is for sale. You can get details on it at our website.

  • Bro, damn that sounds so sw

eet, makes me miss my 50 convertible.

  • It would of looked so much cleaner with no latino pin striping. Solid colors look so less tacky. Everyone tries to be an artist. A true artist knows when to put the paint brush down. Twilight

  • The customer gets what the customer wants... its a "business" thing.

And since when is pinstriping a "latino" thing? That's been a "hot rod" thing since the 50's.

  • someone ought to tell Hennith Howard AKA "Von Dutch" that he was latino....thanks for letting us know onearmbiker.

keep arms in the "short bus" windows at all times,otherwise....well you know.

    hey guys,bitchen sled

  • Yeah, the guato's borrowed that look from the hot rodders of 60's like barris, dutch, fink and a host of other so-calers. Killer ride.

    .

  • how many inches was it chopped???

  • It came to us chopped so were not sure (3-4 inches). Go to the website (showroom 2) and you can see the entire re-resto.

  • ok thanks i will.

  • ooh, grande chopped...

  • COOOOOOOOOOL CAR MEN!! Cool car! What more? That's enough...simply cool and shining :D

  • Probably the most beautiful car in the world

  • that a flathead?

  • Yes it is. If you go to the website you can see the build up on the car and pictures of the motor.

  • man o man shes a beaty , i got a 1950 ford im borin and strokin the flatty to 304 cubes with a mustange toploader 4-speed... you got an job openings lol whats it got fer mufflers smithys??
