This looks great and I really want to do the same BUT how did you REALLY take the plastic ends off without cutting them off? I just un-snapped the plastic claps off the back of the skydock then removed the (2) T6 screws under the UPC bar code label to easily separate the two halves then I removed the (1) T6 screw in the middle of the two iPod/iPhone extendable arms to find that these still do not come out.. Too bad I wold have loved to use my iPad as a XM radio/GPS uint.. :(
