I once spoke with Tommy"Butch" Bond and he told me about the "Two Friends" song.. he sung it while on set for Hal Roach while they were filming that "hash" episode and Hal got a big kick out of it because of the lyrics. Tommy's wife added, "because weren't those lyrics a little too adult themed for a child to know?" so Hal wanted Tommy to sing it in that episode , and so he did...
