  • It was 1969 and the movie THE MUMMY AND THE CURSE OF THE JACKAL was about to premiere in Los Angeles Ca with a hope and a prayer that they could find completion funds to be able to finish the movie. Using a Super 8 camera, the staff and crew as extras, you name it, they were forced to stop filming. I give the movie 5 stars for trying, and God bless all the people that were involved. Inside joke! Crickets in Las Vegas? hahahahah

  • Oh this is so sad to see. You know in his younger days the mummy would pack halls with fans who came to see him strangle belly dancers now he's some aging second act in Vegas. Well, that's show business for you.

  • Oh boy! That's the fattest mummy i've ever seen! Like to see that one sometime.

  • As long as you know that "The Mummy and the Curse of the Jackals" was unfinished (note how John Carradine's character disappears abruptly) and makes absolutely no sense, it's a lot of fun to watch :) Very much in the Al Adamson / David L. Hewitt / Herschell Gordon Lewis vein.

  • man, how did they do that? that looked real!

  • Saul Goldsmith plays the mummy, according to the credits. I love this movie. I LOVE the dancy organ theme music, and I love the glittery gold Egyptian Princess Akana, who is represented in a flashy Vegas way more than a historically accurate way...

  • could you post the rest of this movie?

  • lol I'm in tears...

  • Nobody likes a fat mummy. ;)

I used to have the big box vhs release of this. I sold it on eBay years ago and I really regret it. This movie is incredible.

  • I was talking to my Dad who actually is in this. He's the mummy dude, I kid you not! This is too cool!!!

  • This is awesome! Where can I get the whole thing?

  • It was never released in theaters or on TV. I rented a VHS copy in Nu View Video in Creaseptown, MD ten years ago. It's indescribable. Good Luck!

  • I believe the vhs of this film was released by Academy Entertainment, in the "big box" packaging format.
