I cried after watching this video. I never met Sean or even watched him play as I got into football around 2008 (I'm 16 now, I was 12 then) but I have much respect for him. Living in Miami, Sean is very respected here. He was one of our sacred Canes and from what everyone says, a great person. RIP 21.

I remember when he decked our punter Moorman in the pro bowl and that was my lasting image of him, the most versatile, physical, and talented safety I have ever seen.

I remember the day he got shot....I had just came home from school, and my dad was sitting in the living room.....the channel was on ESPN,but the volume was on low....I asked whats wrong and he just said,"That safety from the redskins got shot in the leg". I was like who? and he said no. 21. As soon as he said that my heart sunk.

The next morning when I woke up for school the next mornin,I turned on the television,and saw he died after they "supposedly" stabilized him. I'll never forget that day

One of the best emotional songs I ever heard. My dad loved it so much that he said when he died, he wanted us to play it as his funeral. We honored his request and played it at his funeral after he lost his battle to cancel back in July 2008.

I still cry about Sean Taylor's passing. That was the roughest autumn for me. In October '07, my best friend was killed by her husband in a murder/suicide and then my friend Tim lost his mom 2 weeks later. In early November, I lost an uncle and in late November, we lost Sean and it was just an overall rough time to live in this area. May God bless all those taken from us.
