Well, I have a Guitar Hero controller, but for the Wii. So, I guess that instead of mapping the buttons to the Guitar controller buttons, you'd have to do so but to the Wii-mote's buttons. Since that pretty much what the Guitar Hero Wii guitar does, it emulates Wii-mote button inputs(with the Wii-mote plugged in).
Then again, I'm just guessing since I'm not really very tech-savy when it comes to these type of software... or any for that matter.
Since the Wii-controller works over bluetooth, it requires the use of third-party tools like OSCulator to get the data into Max. So, if you know how to alter Max patches, you should be able to retrofit the patch using a udpreceive object and route the OSC messages from OSCulator accordingly.
Useful , practical , versatile , i found a lot of musical possibilities .I like the "theremin-Vibrato" technique .
P.S. it seems like doesn´t matter if you are bad guitar player , with this you can tackle almost every problem with instrument technique , just awesome ...
