  • THIS LOOKS AMAZIINNNNNGGG

  • @Hufflebeth you didn't? Wow! It's surely the best combination with jacket potatoes ever.

  • @erdnussbuttertoast It was GAMMON, gammon is pink when it's cooked. Don't make assumptions, we eat food just as cooked as you do. Ok? :)

  • I don't usually like baked beans unless there is brown sugar in them.

  • @DragonRider22 Now that is something I do like!!

  • I love mike's jacket!

  • I would have never have thought of putting baked beans and baked potatoes together. I'm going to have to try this one!

  • We always have a good old Lancashire Hot Pot! Seeing as I'm from Lancashire... :) You should make one! :D

  • Why does it say your omelette video is private? I want to see it :D

  • Hi Sorted!

My birthday is coming up soon and I thought maybe you could show me how to make a new special birthday treat (to serve at parties)?

  • ooooooh so delicious looking! ugh it's probably not a good idea to watch your guys' videos right before going to bed... i feel SO HUNGRY! ><"

  • i made this tonight and OH MY GOD the tastiest meal ever!!! i used medium piri piri sauce instead of tobasco thank you for the recipie sortedfood flavour was outstanding

  • I now know exactly how to cook a jacket potato with some rather yummy look stuff inside :) Normally mine don't go well but I'll follow this in future.

  • I love watching these... it may be in part because of the accents, not going to lie, but it's also nice to see all these quick, easy to make recipes. As a college student I don't have much time, or money, and these are all really helpful.

  • U got featured :) I wanna try this I norm use a microwave as it is faster but have Neva like used all or seasoned it ! Interesting

  • here in NZ we call it guy fawkes and it is on the 5th of November! We also get to buy fiireworks from our local shops to play with :D hope they dont make it illegal any time soon!

  • When is/ was bonfire night?

  • @TheRhineLady It was on Saturday (5th November)...but there's still loads of fireworks and bonfires going on all over the place here!

  • @MrPepperSwan why? Ben's awesome, and knows what he's talking about!

  • @TheRhineLady I know, I think he's awesome, but it would be fun to see what happens if they mix it about a bit...

  • 'its another great excuse to get with some friends and have some great food' - dont you mean get pissed?

  • britishes are too pussy to eat raw meat anyways :p

  • @anddontpretend you are fucking stupid, britishes? really?

  • to me it didn't look like the meat was done yet ._. but I guess that's how british people eat their meat: bloody ._.

  • @Erdnussbuttertoast its pork you big gay faggot its supposed to be pink

  • @anddontpretend honey, I've prepared and eaten pork previously and it's not supposed to be pink when it's done - it only is when it's raw. And no need to become mean, you could have left those insults out. Don't judge others and their statements on what you think should be the definate truth. And what's so bad about being gay in the first place?

  • do you realize how unhealthy your whole menu of sorted food is? only potatoes, sausages, beans and all those things which , i admit are very british but also, are VERY VERY VERY VERY FAT. happy meal to you all!

  • Make spicy spaghetti and meat balls mixed with some Bolognese!

  • As it gets closer to Christmas would be nice to have a few themed recipes?

plus i'd like to have the chance to practice them ;)

  • @abarnybox We'll have some stuff coming out in the next few weeks that should help you out

  • Hi Ben, can you make paella?

  • @mbarrientos0911 Have you tried the Jambalaya on our website? It's the closest thing to Paella that we have so far...

  • Stabbing and exploding

  • @littlemissjaded12345 I usually just put it in for 5 minutes and check if the potatoe is soft and if not just continue to do so until I can get a fork through the potatoe.

  • what about making a rainbow layer cake? :)

  • Hey Sorted, how about a recipe for apple pie for those celebrating Thanksgiving in the States soon?

  • Yea it's not called fireworks night lol

  • RIP Guy Fawkes, the only man to enter Parliament with honorable intentions.

  • show me how to bake a fuckin potato? what has the world come to when people need to be shown how to bake a damn spud.

  • @simyan2012 You had to learn once.

  • No butter on your jackets? thats criminal

  • no offence, but it doesn't take any skill at all to open a tin of beens and squirt bbq sauce on them. then put them on a potato. why not show people how to make a decent bbq sauce or something

  • @crazyjonhilton All our recipes are at different levels of time and skill. This is a quick easy recipe to make whilst you might be busy elsewhere (watching fireworks etc), but still tastes awesome.

I'll certainly add a real bbq sauce to our request list though :-)

  • Its called bonfire night.....

  • Okonomiyaki/Takoyaki please? :( I'm really desperate for a good recipe. Especially from you guys! :D

  • Crackin' fire. I feel like some spuds to warm me up now :)

I'd love to see a chestnut based recipe - only because my parents have found a forest full of them nearby and we now have stacks of marrons glacé in the kitchen...

  • Could you do stuffed tomato recipe? When I make them they turn out really disgusting..

  • YOU CANT BEAT A BEER N SPUD ON BONNY NIGHT OH YEAH TOFFEE APPLE TOO LOL

  • I love any recipe that starts with "first you stab the potato..."

  • okay maybe its worth the wait seeing as i put a potato in the microwave one time and i set it on fire , cooking skills :)

  • FUCK BEANS!!

  • when i do a jacket potato, i just put the potato, big or small, in the microwave for only 15 minutes...

  • @Eden7428 Can't u afford an oven

  • @Superyungalphamon3yz

just because i use the microwave doesnt mean i havent got an oven. its just that 2 hours is a bit long for some people and i was just saying that you dont HAVE to use the oven and wait that long and you CAN use the microwave for minutes!

  • As I'm watching this the smell of burnt gunpowder is coming in the windows as the neighbors let off fireworks. Skyrockets where banned due to all the fires they caused, so now most packs are full of mortar fireworks firing up exploding balls high into the sky about 3 to 4 stories. In the short time around Guy Fawkes night is the only time in New Zealand you can legally buy and set off fireworks. I have seen a few people who save their fireworks for Xmas and new years even though its illegal.

  • dang that looks good

  • 2 hours stick it in the microwave 15 mins ???

  • @gthilly1 Sure you could stick it in the microwave... if you wanted it to taste like shit.

  • @gthilly1 they dont to be honest try it

  • @sortedfood besides youtube were do you get money cuz u have amazing kitchen utenzils

  • i would've at least put my potato on a baking tray before sticking it in the oven.

Otherwise how does he take it out without burning his hands when it's mad hot??

Guess you can take the oven shelf out with the potato on it, and leave it to cool a bit. But as I said, I'd personally prefer a baking tray. 8-)

  • @littlemissjaded12345 Tend to use a pair of tongs... but use whatever you find easiest and safest! :D

  • @sortedfood

Like a baking tray then. :p

  • Mike looked great in his new jacket. Kind of irrelevant, but hey, certainly made the visual that much better.

  • cooking show stereotypes.. and now a little bit of oil (pours in a gallon of oil) a pinch of salt (equivalent to a giants hand)

  • Could you just throw the potatoe in the microwave? That's how I usually make baked potatoes.

  • @Gigibeautysmarts

That sounds like a very good idea to me. We have a microwave, and I think it would take less time to cook than in the oven. Though I'm unsure how long you wait for it to cook in the microwave.

    Any ideas?

  • Do some quick easy meals for college students on the go!

  • @vicvic253 Pretty much this whole channel is this...

  • I'm so hungry now :(

  • What's the cheesiest recipe you have made? I'm a HUGE fan of CHEESE! :D

  • @itznhcandelario Just type Cheese into the search box on our website and you'll see a whole load of recipes :-D

  • It seems that now in England are already sooo cold! but now it still very hot in Hong Kong, what a lovely meal with friend at night! :9

  • Mike -3

  • two hours for a potato is too much....

  • @tmib20 you do realize the temperature is celcius right?

  • Can i have the yellow ukelele in your kitchen? Haha its so cute i want one just like it.

  • Awesome! Good video guys, keep up the enthusiasm!

  • 1:14 AHHH I thought he was going to stab himself D':

  • This MUST be a Brit thing.. never heard of bonfire baked potatoes before. (or putting beans on them)

    :D

  • fart night that the real term for firework night

  • you can also put the potato wraped in tin-foil (or just as it is) straight away into the fire - it's even better.

  • Happy Guy Fawkes Day Eve!!!

  • That potato kind of looks like a yukon gold. Would that work for us yanks?

  • I like it!! nice

  • Comment removed

  • Is there a substitute for the beans?

  • or i could eat a 3 course meal in between then :D:D

(sorted meals of course ;) )

  • yummmmmmmmmmmmm. i love baked potato

  • can you do a swedish meatballs recipe?

  • Is gammon thick cut bacon?

  • Do you have any recipes for diabetics? I'm not diabetic myself but my dad is borderline and has to start watching what he eats, meaning my mom and I also have to eat what he eats. I also have some friends who are diabetic. It would also be nice if this doesn't have any kind of sea food in it.

  • okay im sorry but there is absolutely no way im waiting 2 hours for a potato xD

  • @EmilyMcGleenon It takes a while... but you don't have to sit and watch it. Spend the 'waiting' time with friends! :D

  • @sortedfood yeah but then you have to make potatoes for everyone, what was once an easy quick thing to make just turned into a pain in the fucking ass.

plus im sorry man but that mess looks like someone threw up in a potatoe and sprinkled some cheese on it, absofukinglutely rank, i wouldnt eat it.

  • @MrDubstepaholic Also, on a cold night, if you were handed a hot potato with the smell of beans, bacon, chives and cheese coming from it, all sizzling hot. I think you would. plus, you can make it in bigger batches, and let people cut open their potato and add the topping themselves, still pretty easy.

  • @zephiriusjixx yeah i suppose, hey have you tried wraping a banana in tin foil and putting it in the fire for a miuite and putting chocolate buttons in it afterwards, its sooooo good, i used to do that when i went camping, you should try it :D

  • @MrDubstepaholic Sounds like an awesome alternative to s'mores.

  • @EmilyMcGleenon What I would do instead is poke the holes in it, wrap it in tin foil and stick it in the microwave on full power for 6 minutes (depending on the size of the potato, this would probably be for a medium sized one). Works a treat :).

  • @ChocolateBar1234 I definately wouldnt recommend placing anything wrapped with foil in the microwave!

I normally prepare jacket potatoes by piercing it several times, nuke for 2.5 minutes, then place in the oven for 40-45 minutes. Comes out with a nice crunchy skin and a perfectly cooked middle.

  • @TheCrapinabox Hmm, well it's always worked for me, i've had no problems with the tin foil in the microwave :L.

  • @ChocolateBar1234 You've never had sparks fly? Man your microwave is boring.

  • @zephiriusjixx We did when we put a crisp packet in there :L. And anything with gold leaf on it.

  • @EmilyMcGleenon put it in the oven and then go watch paint dry

  • @EmilyMcGleenon I put mine in the microwave for ten minutes and then the oven for 20-30. Cooks the inside quick and the oven still gives you the crispy skin. Good for impatient people :)

  • i think the best time to watch sirted wen ur eating cuz at least ur not really hungry

  • great videoos, pleeeeeease reply: which camera do you use for filming?!!

  • Oh Yeah It's Tomorrow

  • I can't wait :D

  • When I first heard the intro about spending more time outside, I thought you were crazy because it's getting colder in America. Then I thought, oh yeah, they're in England haha :)

  • @singmeasong121 Trust me. It gets to -7 In London in the winter! It's freezing now!

  • @singmeasong121 England's cold too...

  • why do you use tabasocco sauce is only vinegar with spice, you should look for another types of sauce from latin america or spain,m aybe india, why im saying this, because the tabascco sauce is the worst comecial sauce i ever tasted,

    I hope you understand

  • Were you not cold, Ben??

  • @missinterpreted65 The fire behind us was roaringly hot! Mike suffered in his nice new jacket!

  • @sortedfood roaringly isnt a word :P

  • @MrDubstepaholic Merriam-Webster disagrees with you.

  • whats firework night???

  • Comment removed

  • @CynthiaLynnLee In 1605, London. A man named Guy Fawkes had placed gunpowder surrounding the House Of Lords (very important building) but he was caught and it never took place. Ever since then us Brits celebrate on the night of the 5th November by setting of fireworks! Hope this helps

  • This video made me feel so nostalgic! I love bonfires, especially when it's bitterly cold outside and you've got a massive bag of hot chips. Aaaaah, that's the life. ♥
