To me, this is a great song about honest reevaluation, bold decisions, and commitment. It could easily be an anthem for everyone who has seen hard times, and wants - no - DEMANDS a change in their results and is willing to do whatever is needed.

Our town has been kicked in the teeth and the message and the music is our fist in the air saying, "We will not be denied!!" I got a lump too.
