@CerebralTantrum I'd rather have the wind from the left than from the right as with a right wind sometimes you won't have enough pedal - and the Jet Ranger is short on anti-torque authority. Wind from the left, though, has the risk of LTE for a couple of reasons. One is sometimes the main rotor vortices can travel back into the tail rotor disturbing its airflow. And sometimes a strong wind can drive the tail rotor vortices back into the tail rotor - sort of like Vortex Ring State but sideways
