Keep listening to lectures and nasheeds, and most of all, the Holy Qur'an. Avoid tv and music or radio. Replace them with what is better.

Restrict yourself to Godfearing company, and if you have to be in company that can influence you negatively, give naseeha or limit the time you spend with them.

At work, keep Islamic literature, and maybe your Qur'an if possible to read during breaks or lunch.

Don't talk unnecessarily. Stay in state of wudu, and keep Allah in remembrance often.

we can create our own real world where everything is done the right way or restrain ourselves to the right time by treating our feeling with righteous actions i.e. go see the parents, get to know her friends, etc. and don't you think every relationship should start casually e.g. by having casual conversation to know the depth of each other's compatibility rather than come up to a girl right away and say: "hey i wanna marry you, what do you say huh"

i don't get it..how is it having a special feeling for someone will automatically lead to zina? isn't it sort of a blessing to have that particular feeling towards someone? after all you don't get to fall in love with random people on the street, do you? i know i don't. so, by realizing this, we should not avoid but treat that feeling with righteous actions.

Bro, you haven't understood my talk. I was not referring to a Muslim guy who seeks to court a Muslim girl for marriage. I'm talking about meetings which lead to casual relationships (bf/gf ones). Remember, most youth who meet the opposite sex are not ready, willing or able to marry, and humans being humans, these relations usually lead to kissing, then petting, then sexual practices, then intercourse - thus if you can't marry, stay away from temptation "Do not approach Zina' hadith

Bro, not everybody can give dawa ya. And in order to give dawa you must obtain certain knowledge about Islam and that includes being so consciously aware to stay away from zina. If you mentioned in your video about a muslim guy who wants to give dawa then he must have that knowledge otherwise anybody can jump up onto the podium and start to preach.

You'd be surprised how Shaytan makes people justify their actions to themselves. A man might not approach a girl he likes, but Shaytan makes that person believe he can do 'dawah' to the girl, and this gets the girl and the guy talking. After a while, people will notice the subject of their discussion is not longer dawah...

This is SO absolutely spot-on true. Ive tried to convey this to people but sadly it just doesnt seem to penetrate. Somebody else's weaknesses and mistakes do not elevate YOU as a result; youre still exactly the same person! I think there's huge confusion with establishing standards - the ONLY standard worth aspiring to is the one set by God Himself as emanated by his Prophet (s.a.w.s).

It does take great effort and resolve but thats the whole point; it wouldnt be worth the end reward otherwise.

I live in the states and used to run with some people who got me in the end arrested years back. Though I still disagree with the being charged with the "crime" I did a lot of stuff after that showed people's true colors.
