However, Bret's opinion of WWE soured when Owen died so he chose to stay with WCW. There is plenty of evidence to support this. Bret to this day puts WWE over, admits that he planned to come back prior to Montreal, and well, he DID come back to WWE. Keep in mind he comes from a wrestling family. If anyone can pull off a work, it's Bret Hart.

Bret is a bit of a fool. He turned down WCW's $2.8 million a year to accept $1.3 million from Vince who in turn screwed him. If you could make an extra $1.5 million a year or $30,000 a week extra why turn it down and stay loyal to a snake?

randypicklesanchez: Some people hate him because of what he was like backstage. He didn't get along with ANYONE at one point. But most people love him now, because he's changed and apologized for what he done. He is a great wrestler and is awesome on the mic. But that was all in the past. Now all we need is Bret to do an interview with him and then both sides of the story can be put out there without any contradictions. Until then don't let the past events stop you being a fan of his ^-^.

I agree with you 100 percent on that fact I was glad to hear that they were able to put the past behind them to make a dvd that was long over do for Bret Hart and that is a three disc set for in my opinion the best submission wrestler hands down
And then one year later Bret Hart was in the Hall Of Fame where he belongs and I'm glad to have wrestlemania 22 on dvd with the 2006 WWE Hall Of Fame

dude if u think john cena is better than bret hart, u are either 9 years old or really really stupid because john cena is the most overrated superstar in wwe right now. He cant wrestle and the only reason he is always fighting for the title is he is all roided up and vince is in love with him. Bret wanted to put Shawn over clean again, but shawn said that "he appreciated that but wouldn't do the same." Bret was pissed off at the disrespect and as a result didn't want to do the job. Read Bret's autobiography. Bret isn't a role model and admits it, the guy had so many affairs... it's interesting whether you are a fan of his or not.
