There must be an INVESTIGATION to determine if the Khadr "arrest, torture and trial" is really a coverup steming from the single special forces soldier who witnessed and perhaps heroically interviened in the execution of wounded "combatants/soldiers/prisoners­" on the field. Thank yo CBC in bringing the facts of US soldiers involved in toturing 15 year old detained illegally at Guantanamo. He is innocent and should be set free immediately as he is not involved in any killings of US Soldier as said in the statement of a US Marine on the scene.

Absolutely. Kept in jail and tortured all this time. He seemed a very bright boy having fluency in three languages. Let's face it. Americans are a very cruel people.

And Harper id a horrid man to let this sham continue year after year. We all knew there was horrible torture going on at Gitmo. So did he. He is an unfit leader.

Can we as people organize in some way? It's goign to take more than protest i think, but there must be a way to hit these political assholes where it hurts.

We need to get our human rights back before more canadians are subject to torture!

one thing we should try to do is raise awareness about omar, and other such cases. to be honest, i didnt really know much about omar, then there was a rally in the city earlier this month which is how i got to kno more about. every canadian who knows about this should be angry with the gov't, no matter what party they follow!

its going to have to be we the people if this is how our government is going to handle it. (or lack of handling it!)

Yea, we need to orgainze a fierce movement in Canada.

The Ron Paul movement popped up out of nowhere in the states, and is constantly growing to this day. I really think that message of "Liberty" and Individual Rights could resonate very well in Canada too, and already has in a lot of ways

I'm still a Conservative, but i'm not happy with my party at all, but at least they aren't big spending socialists... yet. It's too bad they have no spine when it comes Foreign Policy and Individual Rights

Thank you CBC. I hope everyone (Canadian and American)that tortured Omar Khadr, that hid evidence of Omar's innocence or torture, and/or that was implicit in Omar's torture is prosecuted to the fullest extent of Canadian, US, and international laws against war crimes!
