  • bars need changeing

  • Beautiful machine. classic cafe style with modern safety bits. i like how theyve maintained the old style look of the engine.

  • Good Job Norton, looks just like a Honda 400 engine!

  • Seen one of these at a IMS not long ago. Pretty badass bike. More sporty than the thruxton.

  • ive gotten lots of pussy riding this bike!

  • One of the most awesome motorcycles in the world.

  • do the big ends go like the old commandos

  • @dorkhunter1

    blah blah blah

  • The seat looks like something you would find on one of the rolling horrors that Ducati used to spawn, if you buy this bike, I would recommend you also buy lots of hemorrhoid cream (as you're gonna need it).

  • @sooupdragon Or just don't be old. Not everyone who buys Nortons, Triumphs, etc... is drawing a pension. I bought my first Triumph when I was 22.

  • Would look really cool with a set of clip ons and rear sets!

  • Really tempted to buy one of these, but why the hell is it insurance group 17!?

  • Congratulate to the new Norton, very nice bike!

  • a 100 - 120 hp version would be nice though

  • hello bikers

  • I like the bike, but the exhaust cans look shit - like they are made out of bits of waste metal hastily welded together, they look half-assed like an after-thought

  • great bike, just need to get rid of that flogged to death piece of toilet of an engine.

  • @visolise What would you wanna see? A 180 hp SBK engine?

  • @visolise

It's apparent this guy knows nothing about Norton's. No doubt a Hardley fag.

  • great bike, just need to get rid of that flogged to death piece of toilet of an engine.

  • fuck the purists. the original norton is dead and gone. these guys are trying to come up with a new commando. i say more power to them. not every maker can be lucky like the enfield, friking run the same design for 60 years and still running...

  • Damn ! Look at that piece of art ! I came...

  • Trick parts, beautiful proportions, shiney, great fit and finish, unbearably slow and fantastically expensive. This is what I'd buy if I had nothing better to do with money and lacked the ability to build my own.

  • @jerkmcgerkin

Nobody who has reviewed this bike has ever said that it was slow. The bike is not a superbike. If those are your expectations, then you're "fantastically" clouded. This bike gets great write ups on almost all points. The only people hating on this bike are purists.

  • cool... not a bike, just a dream

  • The 961 is built in batches to order. Mine should be ready within the next 3 months.

  • yes it´s sold out by some of these moneykings outthere. it´s a shame. how long will it take to get norton back into reliable business???

  • it's sold out

  • it's sold out

  • Fucking gorgeous

  • You can buy three 1970s Commandos, or two new Triumphs, for the price of one of these -

  • wrong proportions in the back... keep the old stuff alive

  • Brilliant Bike
