In one of the Hush graphic novels Superman is stupid enough to fall into Poison Ivy's mind control plot so if Batman hadn't of stopped him he would have destroyed Metropolis and then the entire world putting it under poison Ivy's control. Ya nice one Superman!

when batman wins, he just has superman under kryptonite, very rarley does he KO superman. in an alex ross story arc, batman shot(yes i said shot) superman with a kryptonite bullet. that was the closest i remember he had gotten to killing superman(well unless u use Tower Of Bable. but in tht story batman didnt trigger the attacks)
