Because she's trying to maintain the pitch and the power at the same she has difficulty staying on key. If she sings naturally I'm sure she'll be able to do it well, which is where I think Fantasia has succeeded. Not only does she have a unique sound, it's also natural which makes it easier for her to transcend musical genres. She's quite versatile and can sing anything.

I really dont think Jennifer can sing very well. She has amazing potential but if you listen to her carefully you'll hear that she has trouble controlling her voice. She over extends herself and tries to go beyond a manageable range within the scope of her abilities. For this song, the choir ruined it. You couldnt hear her. That aside, I think Fantasia not only sang this song better but is also a better singer. Fantasia is the real deal. Go to one of her concerts and you will become a believer.

Here what i have to say about this video. Although, it's Fantasia's song (which she song the hell out of) it is always a compliment when someone else, especially another artist, sings their song. Both Tasia and Jenn are friends and I am sure she didn't mind her singing it. I kinda like this performance. She really did her thing. Unless you are Jennifer yourself, you can't judge as to whether or not the emotion was there - you don't live in her mind after all.
