@slovanprofessor I disagree. Listen to Bryan Adams' duet with Pavarotti. Adams has an infinitely smaller, raspy voice, but he did a fine and entertaining job of O Sole Mio.

At the very least, this performance is a fitting tribute to the Chairman of the Board at the end of his long and fabulous career. How great would it be to be serenaded with your song by 3 of the best tenors in the world, the best of whom is Italian, no less!

@Baritone45 With all due respect sir, I cannot agree. Acording to your advice I found Adams and Pavarotti singing together. It sounds even worse. I am not sure if you are musician but I have classical training. I agree that for rock music Adams may be OK but in a real music world, Adams sounds like a joke. ( I am not critizing your taste, please forgive me, I am only commenting how it sounds from othe perspective.)

Eu assisti isso na época. Me emocionei.

Esse concerto fez parte da festa de encerramento da Copa de 1994, nos EUA. Ocorreu no dia 16/07/1994, véspera da decisão entre Brasil x Itália, partida na qual a seleção do nosso país ganharia seu quarto título mundial.

O velho Sinatra, então com 78 anos, estava na platéia e emocionou-se com a apresentação. Menois de quatro anos depois dessa noite, The Voice se calou.
