  • It depends on the water clarity, depth, and current. Usually, the more turbid water is running the shorter the leader; conversely, the clearer the water is the longer the leader should be.

    Remember, clarity, depth, and current need to be addressed too to ensure the best length.

  • @taipan342 Thanks for that. All the fishing I do is active and impressively burns calories. It's not grandfathers fishing and you get the fish too.
